181. AlessandraMesa : My biological mother passed away almost 10 years ago, on June 26th, 2009, her father(who adopted her) passed away the same year on Christmas Eve. I would like to find her biological family, to find out anything about hers and my life. Her adoptive father’s last name "Mesa", she is said to have been born July 31st, 1965 but could be different. Possibly adopted in California (Florida comes to mind), but not sure where she was born. Her adoptive mother died in 1989 and adoptive fathers name was Anthony Mesa, born in 1937. The woman pictured is my birth mother and I am trying to find her biological family. Possible name before adoption is "Betty"
183. MissLiz : With Minnesota having recently opened Birth records‚ I now know that my Birth mother was Leora Lynn Peters. She is no longer living.
In a photo I have seen of her‚ with her husband‚ I can see that we share very similar facial features.
I have some maternal 1/2 siblings. As far as I know‚ she never told them‚ or her husband‚ of my existence. She was not ready to do that in 2005 when I had contact with her through Children’s Home Society. I have (or had) uncles and aunts. The one maternal uncle I had been in communication with and whom I shared DNA with on Ancestry‚ Nicholas Bauer‚ recently passed away. He lived in Florida.
My Birth Father‚ Gary Ingram‚ passed in 2019. He lived in Idaho.
I have many paternal 1/2 siblings in the Ingram family. They may‚ or may not know of my existence. Some do‚ and are not interested in contact.
I have met one 1/2 brother‚ Stephen Ingram. I have been in contact with one 1/2 sister‚ Mollie Ingram. Both of them are DNA matches on Ancestry. Stephen’s daughter and grand daughter are DNA matches on 23&Me.

Father was 21 and nationality is given as French-Canadian. Lutheran Social Services handled the adoption, and the birth mother requested child be placed with members of a Lutheran congregation.

The agency was New Life Family Services in St Paul, MN on Como Ave , I believe. Michael John was adopted from the hospital right after he was born. My sister and I were there and helped my younger sister throughout the pregnancy. Michael was a C-Section baby. He has 3 cousins (2 girls cousins 40 and 37 a boy that was born right after Michael was born to me that is 39. Now he will have also 4 2nd cousin that are boys 2,5,7,& 7... 195. DLHelmen : I am searching for my biological grandfather who was born between 1922 - 1924. He is Norwegian and Irish. He has light complexion, Blonde Hair and Blue Eyes. He dated my biological grand mother for a year...she lived in Wells, MN and her name is Mildred Lorane Schultz and was born in 1924. I do not know of his DOB or where he lived. My guess is Southern MN but could also be Iowa or Wisconsin as my maternal grandmother had relation in Wisconsin and lived close enough to Iowa for him to live there as well. My mother was adopted out of the St. Joseph’s Orphanage out of Wabasha and Catholic Charities of Winona is who the adoption was set up through.
