2300. Toddn0316 : Born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth‚ MN on 3/16/1965. The agency used was Children’s Home Society of Minnesota. The adoption was approved on 7/2/1965‚ our first meeting was 7/7/1965‚ and was finalized on 7/8.
It has been sixty years so it is important to share that my life has been filled with love and there are no regrets‚ only gratitude for both sets of parents. My adoptive parents were each 29 years old at the time of the adoption and had longed for a family with children. They have both passed now‚ but were two amazing people that were married for over fifty years. It was a close family that now continues for other generations.
Thank you.
2301. Sadyemahladye : His birth name was George Zirbes‚ the last name could be spelled differently‚ trying to find our family. His adopted name is Philip Glover.
Born in Minnesota but possibly adopted‚ and grew up in Iowa.
2302. Karebu7288 : My name is Karen and I gave birth to a boy by c-section in Mankato‚ MN on June 23‚ 1988. I was 15 when I was pregnant with him and was 16 when he was born. When he was adopted‚ I sent a care-box with him. It had a letter explaining why he was placed for adoption from me‚ a letter from my mom‚ and possibly one of my sisters might have written him a note too. The box also had two pictures of me pregnant with him and photos of his birth. I also bought him a musicbox with a black horse on it and there was a blue and white afgan blanket knitted for him by the church I belonged to at the time. I don't want to impose on his life or his family's life‚ so I'm not going to actively search for him. I do want him to know that I would be thrilled to meet or at least talk to him‚ so I'm doing what I can to make it easy for him to find me‚ if he so desires.
2303. Jillwestphalwest : Born "Claudine" on February 1‚ 1933 to an unwed mother‚ who likely had the maiden name of Walker. Claudine's biological parents were both blonde and blue eyed...supposedly of Irish‚ English‚ German ancestry. Claudine was adopted from The Willows by a couple from Minnesota‚ Amiel and Henrietta Olander. Claudine was renamed Edris Olander. Looking for anyone who may know the true names of biological parents for 80th birthday. Search has been difficult.

2305. Lannmuszy : Hi. I was adopted and so was my birth mom. I found her in 1997‚ she passed in 2016. Her name was Kathaleen Lenore Malo‚ born June 5‚ 1947‚ in Hutchinson‚ MN. Since she was adopted and had zero info on her birth family‚ I have zero info on that. I was able to get my original birth certificate for health reasons‚ of which I have a lot. I want to find the rest of my birth family. I did ancestry‚ 23 and me and my heritage dna tests. Matched with tons of people‚ but after I message the closest relatives‚ no one ever messages me back. I definitely need her information. Both myself and her were adopted at Lutheran Child and Family home in Minneapolis.
