394. Norgemtgal : I am in search of my grandmother’s birth parents. She and her twin sister were born July 29, 1917 and were adopted by William (Charles) and Elsie Masters Stevens. Grandma’s name was Catherine Julia Stevens her sister was Adeline Elsie Stevens. I’m not sure if they were born in Minnesota or not - I’ve always assumed so. They were raised in Spicer, Kandiyohi Co., Minnesota. Grandma, Adeline, and her adoptive parents have all passed away.

401. ChrisGGoudy : i have my adoption records and birth certificate, name of attorney, judge, clerk, and filing information for my adoption. I have my birth name, pretty much everything except the name of my parents. I don’t necessarily want to speak to them. I am not sure yet as my adoptive parents were wonderful but recently passed. My daughter has had health problems that are not related to her mothers side of the family. she now has children and I am most curious to know if there are any hereditary diseases that run in the family.

Schmidt. My birth name is Christopher Gene Goudy and was adopted by William H. Miller and Donna Miller. I have records that I was given by my father from the Minnesota Department of Health dated August 23rd 1954, signed by Jane V. Winholtz, Supervisor CF Unit, Section of Vital Statistics. I also have an Agreement of Placement between the Catholic Welfare Association and my adoptive father dated 8-11-53. the Notary on this Agreement is Jessica Swain. The reverend John Gregory Murray, D.D, Archbishop of St. Paul, President is listed on the aforementioned agreements as well as Reverend T.F. Meagher, Executive Director - Main 5275. I also have a $25 receipt from the Catholic Welfare Association, #8691, signed by N. Haggerty. The attorney used for thisadoption was Paul J. Blise. The name I have been given and live by is Gregory Paul Miller.
