302. Kaygustafa : I am searching for my grandmother’s biological parents. She had a younger brother who was born around 1950, both born in the St. Paul, Minnesota area. The last name of the biological family may or may not be Carroll. They would have been adopted between 1950 and 1952, I believe.
303. Yarn2 : I born May 29, 1971 in Winona, MN to an unwed mother who stayed at a halfway house until I was born. I was adopted through Catholic Charities, Diocese of Winona on June 16th, 1971 to Karen and Gerald (Jerry) Eichinger, who lived in Marshall, MN at the time. I have no other information about my birth parents, but would like to at least find out if I have siblings, and if there is any medical history I should be aware of. I am now 47 years old, with 2 grown children. I live in St. Cloud, MN.
308. JLO1970 : I am a twin. I have a twin sister. We were born in St, Paul, Minnesota on June 14, 1970. We are bi-racial with our birth mom presumed to be white (German) and our birth father presumed to be Black (African). I recently complete my DNA registry on Ancestry.com. My results located my birth father with the initials B. G. I have sent a message that I know has been read, but have received no response. My guess is that perhaps my birth father had no idea that his girlfriend at the time was even pregnant. That is just a guess. Otherwise I don’t understand why he would not respond to me. Someone else completed his test for him, so I don’t even know if they told him I have reached out or not. My birth mother placed us up for adoption through Catholic Social Services (now Catholic Charities). Catholic Charities worked with Lutheran Social Services and ultimately that was the agency in which we were placed with our amazing adoptive family. If any of this rings a bell with anyone, I am so anxious to locate my birth mother. Thank you.
309. JLO1970 : Any family members searching for twin bi-racial girls adopted in Minnesota in 1970 through Catholic and Lutheran Social Services partnership.
310. Amy63701 : I am searching for birth mother of bi-racial baby boy. He was adopted 3 weeks after birth. A lady who worked at Catholic Charities in Winona, Minnesota adopted him. He had a baby blanket with him from his birth mother. He still has the blanket
313. Olmstead : Born 7/7/1954 in Olmsted county Minesota, Adopted 22 months later. from the Childrens Home Society of Minnesota. Birth mother was very young and thought the father would marry her, but they never wed.
315. Mimi_Johnson_Kanni : Hunter Reed Tosh(Myers)when he was adopted he was given the last name Myers. The adoptive parents are Michael and Crystal Myers of Waseca Minnesota. Our last visit was at a park in St.Peter Minnesota 4th of July weekend 2009. Hunter was 4 years old then. He has an older sister Krista Maria Johnson (Myers) and and a younger sister Alexis Nicole Holey(Myers). That were also adopted at the same time by the same people. They were all given the last name Myers with the adoption. Hunter’s father’s name is Joe Tosh(Charlie-Joe Ray Tosh Jr.) and Alexis’s fathers name is John Edward Holey. I have already had contact with Krista and she know’s how to reach me. When they were taken from us we all lived in a trailer court in LeSueur Minnesota. We had cat’s‚ baby kittens and a ferret named baby. Hunter was born in Norfolk Nebraska(where his biological father is from). Hunter’s father does have 2 older children Micheal and Jennifer. That are much older then Hunter and a son that is much younger then Hunter. That son’s name is unknown to me. As far as I know Joe currently is either living in Nebraska or Texas.I believe all of Hunter’s other siblings currently live in Nebraska. I love and miss all of my children very much and anxiously await to hear from them. I always did everything that I could to keep them and I fought the court’s to try to get them back but ultimately I lost in court. I never wanted them to be taken from me or adopted. The depth of my love for them and how much I have always wanted to be their mother and how much I always wanted to be able to raise them myself and show and give them the love‚ protection and nurturing they always deserved has never left my mind nor have they.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
