1516. Sky2004 : I’m the mother to the adopted child’s half sister and I’m trying to help her locate her half brother. They obviously have the same father.
The adopted boy, Mason, was adopted shortly after his mother gave birth. She didn’t want a reminder of her affair with my husband (ex husband now). She told me she was giving Mason to her cousins whom lived outside of Illinois (where we all live) in a different state. I don’t remember the state she told me tho because that was 12-13 years ago.
I think my daughter deserves to know her one and only step sibling. And she wants to know him, too!
When college time comes along for both of them, I don’t want them to meet and fall in love and end up finding out too late that they are siblings. Mason’s mother, Mandy, shouldn’t want that either.
I think Mandy is afraid that if I find Mason, I will tell him about his real dad and what a narcissist he is and that Mandy doesn’t want her son to ever meet his birth father.
1517. MaiChang : I am looking for my half-sister (Asian-Hmong) who was adopted into another family. My Mom told me her real name is Darling, but I’m not sure if her adopted mother kept or change her name. The woman who adopted her is white. I don’t have a clue to what her name is. My Mother never knew her name either because at that time, even today, she doesn’t know or speak English. She told me this happened so long ago she can’t remember much therefore this is all of the information I have.
1519. CF32 : I had twin girls. Birth names were Alexis Nicole Lamb, and Valerie Rose Lamb. The adopted names changed to Samantha Winkler, and Allison Winkler. I lived in Casselton ND at the time. Their adopted family lived in Moorhead MN. The adoption was chosen to be open then after the first year they changed it to closed.

I am in search for family of my mother who was adopted. We have already found a sister of hers who also lives in Minnesota. My mother was born in Superior‚ WI. We have heard that her father possibly won an Abraham Lincoln look a like contest back in the day. It was a close adoption.
1529. Shallene : We are searching for our 2 BEAUTIFUL Granddaughters. They were adopted in 2016 in Minnesota. Our oldest granddaughter was born January 14, 2008 in Minnesota. And our youngest granddaughter was born July 2, 2010 and was also born in Minnesota.
Before they were adopted they were in foster care. My husband & I were ALWAYS supposed to be able to have contact with them while they were in foster care and even after they were adopted. My mom was also supposed to be able to have contact with them even after they were adopted. My mom unfortunately passed away on christmas eve 2015. She NEVER got to hold them, hug them, or even talk to them after July 2015 (the last time my mom, my husband & I saw them), until she died. Our granddaughters do not even know that their loving great grandmother has passed away. She LOVED them both dearly!! As do my husband & I !
We have NOT seen them, held & hugged them much less even talked to them. The last time we got to see them was July 2015 & that was while they were in foster care.
When they were born I gave them each a nick name. Peekaboo & Teenyboo. Peekaboo was because the older of the 2 granddaughters we’re searching for played peekaboo with me in the operating room after she was born by c-section. And Teenyboo our youngest granddaughter we’re searching for I nick named her that because she was so tiny when she was born (also delivered by c-section).
