A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Minnesota Who Chose To Be Featured
1846. AOwen87 : My Father met a lady in St Pete Florida a couple years before I was born (1987). My Fathers name is Randall aka Randy Owen he and my uncle Geoff had a fling with the lady and I am unsure if the brother is question may be my sibling or my cousin but I want to know. Last I remember my Dad saying is the lady took off with the boy and gave him up for adoption I think in Louisiana or Georgia I’m not sure. I do know it was a closed adoption.
1847. Gopheim : I am searching for the parents of my now deceased mother Carol Opheim(Ambrose(Johnson)). DNA evidence suggests that her parents were both largely of Finnish decent. We think she was adopted through Catholic Charities. The parents that adopted her were Esther & Elmer Johnson who lived there adult lives in Saint Paul‚ MN both at the time of her adoption until the time of their death. Carol knew she was adopted from an early age.
1848. Emilyhowe1313 : I’m looking for my younger sister or her adoptive parents Kim and Chris. My grandma used to send photos of me and my brother to her parents but we lost contact.
1849. Allthejennifers : Birth mother is Judith Kathryn Thomas. Her birthdate is 5-22-61. From Arkansas originally. Has lived and traveled all over the country. Uses the alias Georgie Thomas. We have done submitted dna to ancestory.com.
1850. Eric99 : I was born in Rochester Minnesota on December 4th‚ 1976‚ and put up for adoption. I’ve been told I have a half-brother and possibly a half or full sister.
1855. Ksunbunten : I am looking for my daughter whose adopted name is lilian with the middle name of june. She was born in duluth minnesota at st lukes hospital on the first day of fall on sept 22 2009.
1856. Plee007 : My late father was born in Laurens‚ Iowa he was the son of Otto Huber and Sarah Amundson he was then taken to Minnesota where I think he was adopted by Lenard Anderson who married Sarah in 1917. I have never been able to find a birth certificate or adoption record of my late father and am hoping that someone reading this will be able to help me find these documents.
1857. RLL1968 : I was born in Minneapolis‚ MN at one of the hospitals. Right now I can’t remember which one. My adoption was handled through Catholic Charities in St Cloud. I know my biological mother stayed with her oldest brother & sister in law till the time of my birth. After my birth‚ I know she went to California to stay with another one of her brothers.
1859. JP2023 : Hello‚
I am searching for my birth parents‚ so I can at least gain information about my family health.
It would also be nice to know if I have any biological brothers and sisters. I have seen one man who looks and sounds almost exactly like me‚ he could be my twin.
A relationship with my birth parents would be nice but information is the most important.
1860. Moksa : Her name would now be Alexis Feiler instead of Oksa. Mother had a myriad of substance abuse problems and her name is Pam. Alexis has 3 sisters‚ 2 of which are twins‚ and a brother Santana by her mother..I know 1 sisters are Camille and Mariah. 2 adult siblings have repeatedly denied access despite it being a cps adoption. She was adopted through foster care due to the fact the state refused to separate her from 4 other siblings when family tried to take her in. Blood family was denied access and the state adopted her out to a home that also did not take all 5 children. I don’t believe she knows the truth of her story and has instead been told falsehoods by her foster family. The Feilers of st cloud mn‚ who are very popular in their local foster care system. Questionable situation at best. She needs to know her family‚ siblings‚ niceces and nephews. This was family stolen. Not adoption.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
