When I was 3 months old‚ I went with my adopted family. The adoption was final by June of 1971. I am Caucasian and African American. I was born June 13‚ 970.
1849. Saranshane : Born in Duluth‚ MN. Mom was 15 years old and dad was 16. Mom was running track and was unaware that she was pregnant until she collapsed on the track.
1850. Alice-dottir : My mother was sent up to the Twin Cities from Mankato after getting pregnant. We think this was in the early 1950s. Possibly she was at the Booth Maternity Home in St. Paul. Her name was Alice C. She named her baby Ann. This child that she has to relinquish was a secret she kept and never revealed. We didn’t find out until after her death. So This would be my half sister I’m looking for.

1856. Lisech : Adopted likely in the Twin Cities area in 1936 by a couple. Birth mother was likely Swedish‚ last name Hokanson/Hokensen (some variation). Birth father was possibly a musician‚ maybe French Canadian — birth mother was young (under 19?) and single at the time and gave up the child for adoption. Birth name was Dean Hokanson/Hokensen.
