We believe that the adoption was handled through the Anoka County, MN courts because that’s where adoptees grandparents went with birth mother Shirley to either sign or file papers.
Baby boy Miller your birth mother is eager to meet you! She lives here in MN. I am your your Aunt (Cindy), your mother’s younger sister and I am trying to locate you! You should also know that Shirley & Jim went on to get married during which time they had another son, Martain (Marty) Steven Johnson. They divorced when Marty was 3 years old.

888. 719194 : Elda Hattie Jones birth mother, daughter of Julia Englehardt and John Jones married Roderick Alexander MacDonald born in Canada in 1927 in MN. Family is looking for Melvin Lowell Jones birth family, he was adopted by his step father sometime after Elda was married to Roderick. We are looking for his birth family to find medical history for other family members. Melvin died in 1977 at the age of 57.
Possible birth family may be Newberry, Druberry.
889. 1stZoe : My daughter was born at St. Mary’s hospital in Minneapolis Minnesota. Doctor was Dr. Cable of Cable and Rosenbaum. We were victims of the Baby Mill prevalent at that time. Hennepin County Social Worker Jeri Furness was the key facilitator in the process which involved tbe participation of my parents, along with lies amd coersion.

She may have been born when my mom was in high school or just graduated. 7 or more years later she had me. Im currently 18 years old.
891. Cegandr : My son was born in Fort Worth, TX and the adoption was handled through Catholic Charities. He lived with a foster family for the first three months of his life until we adopted him. A nun accompanied him on his flight to MN in January 1988. He arrived wearing an outfit and wrapped in a quilt with a small pillow/music box, all that his birth mother had gotten for him.
896. Scarlettscene : My grandfathers name was James B Caverly. His mother was Mildred Drake Belanger Vandermark. She had Eugene, John & my grandfather. Mildred was buried with a man named Gerard Belanger. My mother says that Mildreds husband was not Gerard but a man named Edward Vandermark. Both sons Eugene and John share the Vandermark last name but my grandfather is a Caverly.
898. Smjosephrn : Adoptee’s mother was Maria and the babies name given to him was Michael. Fathers name was Stuart but it is doubtful if that info was given to the agency. Maria was from the Chicago area. I know that Michael was born about 1958 from the letters she sent my dad.
900. Arosa : I was born November 27th, 1976 in Chisago Minnesota. My birth mother’s name is Catherine. She is engaged or married to a man named Kenny. She has 2 other biological children named Timothy and Tiffany. I was adopted through catholic chatities in Minnesota.
