890. Lindamaeclarksean : We are searching for an older half brother of my husband, Charlie. His birth mother was born in 1932, possibly in Red Lake Couny, Mn. She is part Native American, and her last name may have been Roy. She was tall and liked to sing. She was married in 1950, and had a son that year. She was divorced when Charlie was born in Minneapolis. His half brother was cared for by grandparents. He was born in Minneapolis 9/16/1952, and adopted through Children’s Home Society in Minneapolis.
891. Loraina : He was born in West Virginia, but I don’t know where he was adopted. Adoption Services in Camp Hill PA might have been involved. I just sent in an Ancestry DNA test. Anyone looking should consider taking one or more DNA tests.
892. Worwalp : I was born in Minneapolis or St. Paul, MN and adopted through Catholic Charities. 3 months premature, I was told my birth mother was 19 and father 21. The attorney that handled my adoption was Larson.
894. CindyFuerstenberg : Fathers name James Markus Johnson born in 1950 age 19 at time of adoptee’s birth
Mothers Name Shirley Ann Miller born 8-27-1951 age 17 at time of adoptee’s birth
Adoptee was born at Booth Memorial Hospital in St Paul, MN, Booth Memorial was run by the Salvation Army, who reffered the babies out to varioius adoption agencies
We believe that the adoption was handled through the Anoka County, MN courts because that’s where adoptees grandparents went with birth mother Shirley to either sign or file papers.

896. 1stZoe : My daughter was born at St. Mary’s hospital in Minneapolis Minnesota. Doctor was Dr. Cable of Cable and Rosenbaum. We were victims of the Baby Mill prevalent at that time. Hennepin County Social Worker Jeri Furness was the key facilitator in the process which involved tbe participation of my parents, along with lies amd coersion.
897. Tpetersen22 : My mother Jennifer Lynn Heimerl had a daughter and put her up for adoption. I didn’t know until a gender reveal party. I am hoping to find her and connect with her. She may have been born when my mom was in high school or just graduated. 7 or more years later she had me. Im currently 18 years old.
898. Cegandr : My son was born in Fort Worth, TX and the adoption was handled through Catholic Charities. He lived with a foster family for the first three months of his life until we adopted him. A nun accompanied him on his flight to MN in January 1988. He arrived wearing an outfit and wrapped in a quilt with a small pillow/music box, all that his birth mother had gotten for him.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
