We had already been adopted when you went into the system. Your family had contacted ours after the adoption‚ but things never happened. Birth Mother was Young 19 years old. Her Physical attributes are...5’10 very slender Very dark brown hair‚ almost black. Brown Eyes and very very strong cheek bones. People said she looked like Cher. She had grown up In MPLS and attended South High School but was unable to graduate on time . Adoption was probably handled by Catholic charities as I hear that was the popular agency then.
Birth father was just a few years older then the mother. Not much is known about him other then he was of average height and had redish hair and we have his name.

1719. Pojynrg05 : I was born on June 11th 1969 in Saint Paul Minnesota. I was adopted a short time after that not really sure. I did find a piece of paper from the hospital a long time ago that stated my real birth name was Peter.
1721. Dobson73 : I’m looking for my grandfathers birth parents. I know very little about his adoption. All I know is that he was born June 6th 1943 and was adopted sometime after that. Some relatives found information that his birth Last name could be “O’Shaughnessy”. His adopted parents are Alice Burnice Whalen and Elton Laverne Dobson who lived in Minnesota. My grandfather passed in November of 2020. My family believes he may have been from over seas somewhere in but no one has found any information to confirm this so he can be from anywhere for all we know. My grandfathers adopted name was Richard (Dick) Elton Dobson. His birth records show he was born in Stearns County Minnesota. It is unknown if he had any siblings.
