842. Norman3536 : My adopted parents went through Lutheran Children’s Friend Society of MN for my adoption. I was born at Booth Memorial Hospital in St. Paul, MN. on April 3, 1961
846. Wisteria : Looking to find the birth parents of my maternal grandfather, David A. Hamilton. Was adopted by Arthur Steven Hamilton and his wife Susanna P. Boyle Hamilton before the child was 5 mos of age. 1910 census in Minneapolis Minnesota states he was their adopted son and both his parents were Scottish. I found a delayed birth certificate putting them as parents, but no record of an adoption.
847. Melisascudder : I am looking for my daughter who I gave up for adoption through the Jewish Family Services in St. Paul, MN in the summer of 1986. Se was adopted by a Jewish couple with the first names Steve and Barbara, one of whom was a Social Worker, the other worked with the blind. They had a daughter who was 7 years old at the time of the adoption named Sam (I think). My daughter’s adopted name is Angela and her birth name was Vida. Her birthday is June 24, 1986. I would love to know she is well and send her my love.
850. Greenelie : I am searching for my half-sister. I believe her name at birth was Catherine, born Dec 1972. Catherine had a baby, also put up for adoption, May 1991.
851. HutchersonMale : Searching for parents or siblings.
Male, born March 3, 1953 Ramsey County, St. Paul, MN. Birth last name Hutcherson. Placed December 1953, through Lutheran Children’s Friend Society. Adoption finalized April 1955.
852. Loreenb1958 : I have been looking for you since I found out in 1992 when my brother was killed my youngest brother I always knew Mom was pregnant she gave you up she
didn’t bring you home and I couldn’t figure out why and over the years as a child I just you know I had lost track of things until after the death I have been sickened and cried the whole time about where my sister is born April 3rd 1963 or 64 in Minnesota Minneapolis it was a closed adoption and I need to find you before I pass I just have to I keep praying to God every day I can find you I need you and I love you
853. Webstermn : It isn’t exactly clear to me who this message is for but here goes. I would very much like to locate my birth daughter. She was born December 19, 1969 at Hennepin County General Hospital, Minneapolis MN, and her adoption was facilitate by Lutheran Social Services. My husband and I are retired and live in Costa Rica. He is very supportive. I have three grown children, one grandson and another grandchild on the way as of this writing. I have an older brother who lives in Wisconsin and a younger sister who lives in Minnesota. My oldest sibling (another sister) passed away in 2001. My parents are both deceased. My mother, my birth daughter’s grandmother died at age 83 in 1997 and my father, her grandfather, died in 2014 at age 102. The birth father’s name is Lawrence Michael Larson and I know where he lives but don’t feel at liberty to include that here. He was 20 and a student at the U of M. My name at the time was Jane Ellen Webster and I turned 19 on November 30, 1969, about 3 weeks before my birth daughter’s birth. I want her to know how much I love her and always have. I wanted to raise her but circumstances were difficult and support was almost non-existent. I did what I felt was best for her and I hope that decision caused her to live a fulfilling and happy life. If she so desires to reunite I will be so glad and she will be welcomed with open arms by our entire family. Of that I am certain!
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
