2057. Schamberlain : A daughter was born in November of 1888 and adopted by David & Minnie (Wolfe) Howell in Minneapolis‚ MN. DNA indicates the mother is likely a member of the Reymond family of Barnum‚ Carolton Co.‚ MN French Canadians who came to MN from Quebec via VT and NY. This was a large family and many went on to Oregon. I have not been able to identify a likely member of the family who could be the mother‚ so one of the sons might be the father. Census records are clear that the girl’s mother was French Canadian. Upon adoption she was given the name "Pearl." She may also have had a brother per DNA or half brother who also was adopted by a family that went to California.
2058. Troyswitajewski : My biological mother’s name is Diane. I was placed for adoption in 1985 and I just learned that she also had another son she gave up for adoption in November 1981. She had me in wright county‚ MN but is from st. Cloud‚ MN so sibling could have been born there.
2059. NicoleCelesteSkrove : My name is Nicole Celeste Skrove. I was born 1/13/1983‚ I was born at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale‚ Minnesota and I am 41. I was part of an open adoption that I believe was finalized in 1985 but my adoptive mother Trudy Skrove is dead and my adoptive father David Skrove has refused to speak to me for a very long time. I have been told my biological parents are named Karen and John Wilcox and I have a picture of my mother and I look very much like her. As of the moment I’m not looking to have a deep and meaningful relationship but if they are still alive I would like to meet them. I was born with a club foot and had that lower leg amputated in July of 2023. I work for a bank‚ I have an almost 12 year old daughter and I swear I’m always tired.
2061. Tla1362 : My name is Tommy I would be the younger brother of a child that was adopted. He would have two other siblings name was Lacresha and Bobby. We would like to know if he’s out there and possibly looking for us since he was adopted.
2062. PaAr : Burgwinkle‚ Valeri‚ Arsenault‚ Brown‚ could be matched in dna websites showing links.
Catholic agency in Kansas or Missouri‚ is most likely where the birth took place
2064. Member285184 : Searching for sibling of my son. Boy‚ birth name Steven‚ changed to Philip by adoptive parents. He was placed for adoption in April 1993/94 from Hennepin County. Father’s name Christopher Johnson born 10/12/72.
Also in search of my sibling‚ girl placed for adoption through Lutheran Social Services‚ Hennepin County. Birth name Jeannie‚ born November 1979. Mother Jamie Madsen‚ father Kelly Driscoll.
2065. PattiSchwensen : Mary (née Johnson) and Joseph Charles FADDEN gave birth to Mary FADDEN on April 7‚ 1905 per Saint Paul‚ Minnesota birth records. However‚ she was in what we think was a “mother’s home” or home for unwanted children‚ by the Minnesota June 1905 Census. The Fadden’s also had a daughter who was 10 years older‚ named Marie‚ however the story told to me was that Marie’s parents didn’t raise her and she didn’t typically live with her parents‚ but bounced from her grandparents to various aunts & uncles homes.
Mary FADDEN became Charlotte Theodora Moffat (adoptee’s name) and she is my maternal grandmother. She was raised by the Christina and Thomas Moffat of Saint Paul‚ Minnesota. Neither I nor my mom ever knew of Charlotte’s “adoption”‚ if there actually was one…we don’t think Charlotte knew either. Nor am I sure if it was formal and legitimate! I have not been able to find any adoption paperwork‚ however I don’t really know where/how to look for it. The way I even found out about this situation was via my DNA test on Ancestry.com. A cousin connection was made with Karen Svendsen Notley Johnson (who has since sadly passed away).
2066. MDKrogh : I was born in Fairmont‚ MN at the Fairmont Community Hospital. I was born on August 24‚ 1971 at 12:55 a.m. C.D.T. The Doctor that delivered me was Dr. RW Schulz at 121 No. Main St. Fairmont‚ MN.
2067. I did the ancestry.com DNA testing. The high result matches that I received were Eugene Voyles‚ Erykah Pope (her profile says it is managed by Mishell Sakai) and John Hill. I would love to connect with any of these individuals to find out if we are maybe related in anyway. I would love to learn & meet anyone from my biological side.
2068. MDKrogh : I am searching for my birth mother. I was born in Fairmont‚ MN at the Fairmont Community Hospital. I was born on August 24‚ 1971 at 12:55 a.m. C.D.T. The doctor that delivered me was Dr. RW Schulz at 121 No. Main St. Fairmont‚ MN. I believe my mother’s name is Delby (Debby) Jo Anderson. She was 17 years old when I was born. Her address at the time of my birth was RR #2 Granada‚ MN. My mother was born in Korea. Her race is listed as 1/2 white & 1/2 Korean. I would really love to find her‚ to meet her and learn more about her & my background.
2069. Aliii : Last name possibly Kuhlmann/Kuhlman
Mother name Genny‚ Jenny‚ Genevieve
Would have been young and not out of school yet. Catholic family possibly SA or very young
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
