I was born 11/08/1996.
I don’t know the exact DOB of my birthday sister.
784. 1026rochester : I’m seeking you out to thank you for giving me up for adoption—according to the information that was provided to me, the birth mother felt it was the best thing to do.
785. MACO : Hello,
My brother’s adoption was from the following.
Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota
2414 Park Avenue
Minneapolis, MN 55404
telephone 612-339-0821 (Currently, phone is inactive and from google search the address has changed.)
Our parents were told that Todd’s birth parents were teenagers and both of Norwegian decent.
My brother has mixed feelings about meeting his birth parents.
But is interested in family medical history.
He has given me permission to search for them. If contact is possible, he has also given me permission to communicate by letter and send them pictures.
As a mother, a would like to reach out and give my brother’s birth mother pictures of her son.
Thank-you for your help!
Respectfully,
Mary-Ellen - Todd’s sister

790. MarkJNewell64 : I was born 4/20/1964 at St Joseph’s Hospital in St Paul, MN and was placed for adoption through Catholic Charities. I was living in a foster home in Le Sueur County, MN until I was adopted at about 6 months old. I found my (slightly) redacted birth certificate that list my given name as DAVID JOHN (no last name) and no other information about my biological parents was listed on the birth certificate. I have been told my bio parents were "young", possibly around 17-20 and could have been students at the University of Minnesota when I was born. My adopted parents have given me no other information and all searches have been unsuccessful so far.
792. JMM4248 : Baby was born at North Memorial. Mother’s name Janet Machulda. Fathers Name Marvin Miller. Adopted in Anoka County. Born November 1968. Mother was 18. I am the mother. Curious about my daughter. Basically just want information. Not necessarily meet especially if the adopted daughter does not want to meet me. Religion of mother Catholic.
793. Mkmahoney : Please help me find my brother(half), I desperately want to find the missing piece of me.
Below is the info I was told:
I think the birth Mother’s name is Monica Anderson. I know Monica had family in Devils Lake, ND, but its been so long, I’m not sure if they still are in that area. My father Michael Mahoney, my half brother’s biological dad, was born and raised in Rochester, MN. My father was born in 1951. I was told Monica was a little older than my father.
My father was still in High School but Monica had already graduated when they put him up for adoption.
I’m not sure where he was adopted out of, my Father was not told any info regarding the adoption.
He was made to sign some papers in a courthouse and pay a fee and that was the last thing he remembers. He knew he was to young to raise a baby and hoped for a good loving family for him.
I’m 37 and an only child, each year for Christmas my first thing on my list was a brother or sister. My father told me about my half brother when I was around 13yrs old and I haven’t stopped trying to find him and not a day goes by I don’t think of him.
I would greatly appreciate any help.
Sincerely,
Megan
