1007. Tarjersvig : I was adopted through Lutheran brotherhood social services of Golden Valley MN . I was born in a hospital in Minneapolis MN my mother was a teenager. I was adopted by a family that lived in Detroit Lakes MN.
1008. Camelot250551 : The adopted person was my father. He was adopted by Fred & Edna Pecotte. I would like to know who his "biologic" mother and father were.
1009. TommyMac : I’m a 75-year old male looking for birth parents’ information and possible siblings. My place of birth was LaCrosse, WI. My adoption was administered by Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Winona (MN). I was housed from birth to Nov. 17, 1944 at St. Joseph’s Orphanage, Wabasha, MN. I was formally/legally adopted by a couple from Austin, MN. My birth certificate states my adoptive mother and father’s names as "parents."
1010. Beth328 : Born in Rochester, MN adoption was through a county, not private birth mother was 21 in March of 1988 birth father’s name was Robert and was born in November 1963
1011. Ramccarroll : The agency that handled the adoption was Luthern Social Services in Grand Rapids, MN 55744. My brother was born at Itasca Medical Center in Grand Rapids, MN. He was born on May 17th, 1971. My mother’s name was Rita Johnson and my father’s name was James Harthan.
1012. Fmarston : I am trying to find my son that I placed for adoption. He was born November, 24, 1994 in Waterloo, IA at Covenant Hospital. I chose his birth parents and we had some contact after but it has been a long time. We moved and I lost their address. His name at birth was Adam Ross Thomas Marston. I know they kept his first name as Adam but I don’t know about his middle names. His last name after adoption was Johnson. I’ve looked on social media but have never found him. I even tried Googling him but no luck.
1015. Luckybread61576 : I’m searching for my mother-in-law’s biological parents. She was born in Saint Peter, Nicolette, MN in 1961. She was given the name Ramona Ann Andersen.
Her father’s name is Donald. His last name ends in son. He was born in 1936. Donald’s father was born in Denmark, and the year 1914 is significant to him (either birth or immigration). Donald owns or owned a construction company. Donald has a son born around 1962 who might also be Donald Jr., and a second son born about 1964 (?).
Her mother’s first name is unknown, but her middle and last name are Ann Olson. Ann Olson was born in 1934. As of 2008 she was still alive.
Olson’s mother’s maiden name was Andersen. She had a brother and a sister. The sister was a school teacher that lived on a farm.
Donald and (?) Ann Olson were married in 1961. I suspect they got married in Scott county Minnesota based on their info not being available on the MOMS of Minnesota website (Scott being the only county to not participate). They got divorced "almost 20 years" later, around 1980 +/-
This is all I have so far. I know that Donald was interested in meeting, but Ms. Olson prevent it. This was in 2008.
1016. Wiggz63 : My sister was born some time between 1957 and 1959, my mother was only 16 years old and was sent to st Mary’s home for unwed mothers, I think my sister was born at st Joseph hospital, and I think she was adopted through the Catholic charities. Her birth month is somewhere between January and june. Thank you I hope to find my sister, I have been looking a long time for her.
1017. Chachatoday : Birth parents and siblings. Birth parents were born in the early 1940’s. Birth mother had older twin brothers, and a younger sister. Last names were Yatckoske and Snyder.
1018. ToraEllis : I’m looking for my sister. Her birth parents were Francisco Vega and Kimberly Amerian. I really want to find her. I wish I knew more but the people who know that information are not inclined to share it with me. I’ll find you Shontay. Somehow, someday.
1019. Ljahr200 : I was adopted. My birth mom was 16 years old, my dad 19 years old and in college. My moms dad seemed to be a farmer and my grandma from moms side was in bad car accident in 1981 that left her bedridden. I was adopted through Lutheran Social services in Minneapolis, MN.
1020. Angelapelzl : My biological mother was born in New ulm mn as Linda Mary meidl and had me in 1980. When I was 3 she married Keith Schroeder and he adopted me in or around 1987 in New ulm mn. It was forced and years later my mom.told my sister they did the adoption in order to prevent my biological father from seeing me. My mom doesn’t talk about it. She told me his name is brian/Bryan Marth or Marsh.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
