902. Scarlettscene : My grandfathers name was James B Caverly. His mother was Mildred Drake Belanger Vandermark. She had Eugene, John & my grandfather. Mildred was buried with a man named Gerard Belanger. My mother says that Mildreds husband was not Gerard but a man named Edward Vandermark. Both sons Eugene and John share the Vandermark last name but my grandfather is a Caverly.
904. Smjosephrn : Adoptee’s mother was Maria and the babies name given to him was Michael. Fathers name was Stuart but it is doubtful if that info was given to the agency. Maria was from the Chicago area. I know that Michael was born about 1958 from the letters she sent my dad.
906. Arosa : I was born November 27th, 1976 in Chisago Minnesota. My birth mother’s name is Catherine. She is engaged or married to a man named Kenny. She has 2 other biological children named Timothy and Tiffany. I was adopted through catholic chatities in Minnesota.
910. Snowflake4boy : My name is Anita. In January of 1959 I was born in Bemidiji, Minnesota. What I know of my parentage isn’t much . My adopted mom was told my birth mom lived with her mom. I was also told my birth mom kept me for 3month before she surrendered me to the Lutheran Social Services. My adopted parents picked me up that July. I lived my childhood in Richfield ( 1st suburb from Minneapolis) from 6months to the age of 22. I’ve lived in Portland,Oregon ever since
911. Meganforsythe : My mother gave a son up for adoption through Lutheran Social Services in Minnesota. He was born in July of 1971, I am unsure the exact day but believe it was the end of the month. She named him Jamie (unsure of the spelling). He was in foster care part time for less than a year, as her grandmother to her to court to make her keep the baby (she turned 18 less than a month before the birth). My mother lived in NW Minneapolis at the time so I assume he was born at Hennepin county.
914. DBA1995 : trying to find my birth father named Terrence McHenry who was around the Minneapolis, Minnesota area back in 1995, the year of my birth. my mother’s name is Rhonda but i don’t know her last name. this would help me answer some long burning questions
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
