He lived in Moorhead‚ (Clay County) Minnesota. he lived with us off and on before and after his removal from his home. He was living with just his father at the time of his removal from his home at age 3. His father was of African-American heritage and his mother‚ who had left the family‚ was Caucasian. My family expressed the desire to adopt him when the parental rights were finally terminated. However‚ they were searching for a mixed-race family to adopt him and would not let my parents‚ who were caucasian‚ adopt him. He was later moved to another foster home on a little farm‚ in a different area. I was able to escort him there but never saw him again. I heard he was adopted at about age 8.
