2418. Christy43 : I am searching for Christian Christenson and his family that moved from Dows‚ Iowa to Chippewa County around 1900. His wife's name was Hansine and she was also a native of Denmark. Christian passed away in Raymond‚ MN in 1912 but had lived in an area called Woods (County‚ maybe)for several years prior to moving to Raymond. Christian was born in 1844 and Hansine was born in 1867. They had a daughter‚ Camilla that was married in Montevideo‚ MN in 1907 to Edward Henry Hopke. There were 2 children born in Raymond‚ Mn and another daughter that had been born in Iowa in 1899. I would like to know if anyone has any information about the family while they lived in Chippewa County. I was told that my real mom was trying so hard to take care of me but couldn’t give me the life I wanted. My adopted family has been lying to me and nothing they say has added up. I did have 5 dna test done and they say 100% German and my adopted mom is half polish and half German. I do need to talk to my birth parents so I can get some medical history on me.
