197. Dimado : The sister of her adopted brother has told me that my DNA matches her adopted brother. She has found some records from a Childrens Home Society of Minnesota in St. Paul but there were no names. It did say his lineage was English-Danish and Irish-Scotch.
The form has vague info of the parents and grandparents... except it says "Baby Boy Shaffer". I don’t know if that is the mothers, fathers or adopted parents last name. His mother was 22 and father was 28 at the time of adoption. The mother had 2 years of college and worked as a receptionist. The father had completed junior college and worked for a large business.
I have been searching Family History and Ancestry with no results...but I have not given up.
198. Goldberger4 : We are hoping to find our big brother Daniel, we never knew we had one till now. We know his Mom was from Inver Grove Heights & that She was 18 or 19 when Daniel was born. We know that our Dad met him once, either 1988 or 1989, when Daniel was sick in the hospital and they needed genetic information to help Daniel.
200. Katsoo : My son would have red hair or at least a reddish tint, and light skin that easily burns, and freckles, because his siblings both do. Chances of facial hair being red is strong.

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
