637. Teresaryder : I am trying to locate my sister, Allison Nakashima, who may have been adopted out of the United States to another country, possibly in April, 1976. She was a resident of Seattle, Washington, King County when she disappeared. Her father was Hiro Nakashima (who lived in California at the time) and her mother was Shirley Ryder Nakashima Dionne. She had lived at her mother and grandmothers house in Ballard, Seattle, Washington and also had been at a foster home I believe the last name was Kodama, at a house not too far from her grandmothers, Inga Slak. Tom Kodama was a best friend of her father Hiro Nakashima. Supposedly just before she disappeared, a Doctor Sumi of Edmonds , Washington had her at his office - Nobody knew that she had been in Edmonds, Wa. or that she visited a Doctor Sume here in Edmonds. According to his nurse 40 years ago, Allison had stayed at her house for 2 weeks. I never heard of this before. Supposedly, she died in April 1976 (a day before she was due to testify in court in Seattle, Washington against a Stanly Krivsky that had raped her....She disappeared from Ballard, Seattle and was not found until May 15, in Edmonds, Wa. We do not believe she died and there is no body at the cemetary where she was buried. We believe people adopted her out and shipped her to another country or area, possibly Sri Lanka........This would be a connection to a William Miller, possibly. Also, a member of her family (Hansen family/Udhus) had started a huge religious organization in Edmonds, Wa. called AGLOW......some believe these people adopted her out, sent her some place else. Any information would be so appreciated. Thank you so much for your service......She may not have the same name, Allison Nakashima.
Thank you again,
Teresa (Tere) Ryder - sister of Allison Nakashim
Her other sister is Sandra Graves, formerly Sandra Philips of Mountlake Terrace......
