Father: Kevin Wayne Moore
Place of birth: Kennewick General Hospital Kennewick Washington
I was told I had no rights over the adoption but could fight for custody. At the time I did not think I could care for a child as I never had any experience‚ and knowing of past instances of a parent fighting for an adopted tearing up a families and a child's life greatly repelled me given my own upbringing and decided not to fight it. My late grandfather did have contact later with the mother‚ and I was told his first name is James.
I look back now‚ and see I could have fought. That there had been means for it and have regrets‚ but I know I was young and I can't fault the choice I made then‚ as it was for you James.
3485. MeghanAndersen : Glen Grue Jan 24 1952 born in Seattle Washington is my father. He was adopted shortly after birth and moved to Minnesota with his adopted family. We know adoption agency was Lutheran Social Services and closed adoption. Glens birth mother wanted to make sure he was adopted by a Scottish/Norwegian family. His heritage is Scottish and Sephardic Jewish. Ancestry DNA gives us half 2nd cousins but nothing further to go on.
3487. MargaretNewton59 : I am looking for my grandson Skylar Brittain who was born October 23 2008 at Peace Health St Joseph’s in Bellingham Wa. His parents are Rachel Newton Stewart and Michael Brittain. He was removed from the parents when Skylar was only 8 months due to drug and alcohol abuse in the home. He was placed in a foster adopt home in Ferndale Wa. The foster parents kept in contact with the birth parents and the birth parents were allowed to visit but eventually stopped. I encouraged my daughter to sign her rights away and let that family adopt him because he had already been with them a couple of years and was bonded to the foster family who really wanted to adopt him. I could not take Skylar myself because I was a travel nurse and didn’t have the means to take him. I had already asked if I could take him to Az where I had a nursing contract but it wasn’t allowed. He also has a great gramma in her 90’s who is alert and oriented but her health is failing and she really desires to see her great grandson before she passes. I am currently raising his biological sister whe is turning 14 in November and she would like to know her sibling. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Warm Regards
Margaret Newton
