A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Washington Who Chose To Be Featured
2101. DavidLamb : She was adopted through Catholic Community Services in Seattle, Washington. I don’t know more than that. We gave her a stuffed lamb when she went to her new family. Our last name is lamb so we hope they kept it for her. We have been looking for you so please get in contact with us if this could be you. I realize you are in your 40’s now but we would sure like to meet you and answer all of your questions.
2103. Helpingdnamatches : I am searching on behalf of an adoptee .Looking for a woman who was adopted and lived in California during her mid 20’s, who then placed a daughter for adoption in January 1979 in California. The child (a daughter) was born in Long Beach. She believes that she was born baby girl Beaumont and that her mother was born in the mid 1950’s. She also believes her father was Navy. Both the adoptee and myself have done DNA testing for this search (we are related as well). I have a couple of families that are DNA related but have been unable to narrow results because of the multiple adoptions.
2104. JodyandCoba : Hello, I was born in Northwest Hospital Seattle Wa on April 3rd 1971. I am looking for any birth family member. Or at least pictures of relatives 🙏
2106. Dwillingham : Hello -
I am Dayna and I am trying to find out more information about my family. My maternal grandmother was adopted and we know very little about her life. We are trying to find out more information because we (her family) would like to know more about our heritage.
The names that are related to this search are: Lois (My grandmother), Edwin B. Driskell (adopted father), Caroline Driskell (adopted mother). We have been told in the past the biological family has the last name Kroger, or Kruger, with the name Mary being named as a possible first name for her biological mother.
I believe the adoption was arranged in WI, but the actual birth and adoption happened in Tacoma, WA. I have attempted to look up un-wed mother homes in the area during 1920, but have not been successful.
2107. EdBarnhart : Looking for information on who father may have been. My sister was born in 1947 and placed for adoption and I was born in 49 and placed for adoption. My mother first name was Martha and lived in Cowlitz County Washington.
2108. Myyblue : I was born at Madigan Hospital in Tacoma Washington.
While in the care of a foster mother, she nic-named me "Meg".
I was adopted by a loving couple 8 weeks after birth.
I had a great life and I harbor no ill feelings towards my birth mother for giving me up. I would love to meet her or just know something about her and the circumstances surrounding my adoption as well as health information.
2109. Lrheber : I am unsure of the actual month and day of birth, although it was most likely in Kent, WA in 1966.
Edna Heber was advised to give up her son as she already had a son that was "special needs". Randy Heber is not "special needs" but was subjected to some psychological abuse as a toddler that may have given an indication that he had Autistic traits.
Although Edna died in 2017, Randy is living in Auburn, WA and would like to pursue finding his half-brother.
