A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Washington Who Chose To Be Featured
1021. Sam1994 : I last time I saw my brother, was 2010. I was about 15 & he was 6 or 7. He knows who I am. We have a 16 year old sister that is 11 months older than him. The system seperated us instead of trying to keep us together. I currently have custody of my 16 year old sister. We’d love to have our brother in our life’s. He’d probably fill in this missing spot. We really miss him.
1022. Ck1girl : Boys birth name, Brain Wilson (probably different now), birthday April 15, 66 or 67 Spokane is where he was born, biological moms name was Connie Wilson -last name Robohn now, her birthday was August 27, 1944, and biological Dad name was Freddie Joe Covey birthday May 2, 1942 , the baby was adopted out from Catholic society for unwed mothers in Spokane , adoptive parents were in the military and possibly teachers.
1023. Sparks510 : I am the son of a teenager‚ born in Everett Wa‚ January 1969.
I would very much like to understand by historical background‚ for nothing less than medical history for myself and my sons.
If my birth mother or father would like more‚ I am open to this discussion.
1024. Mcketchum1 : I am looking for information for genealogy purposes.
Ruby Ruth Smith is my Great Aunt. She was adopted out around 1910.
She has 4 siblings before and 4 siblings after her birth, from the same set of birth parents.
I can not figure out why she was put up for adoption, and the other children were not. Thank you for any help you can give me.
Michelle Morgan
1028. Katcrook : I had a boy in April 1972 in Anacortes WA.
He went to a family in Seattle or Tacoma.
His mom didn’t work at the time but volunteered at museums. His dad worked for the power company.
Would like to meet you.
1029. PrincessB75 : My biological mothers name is Shirley Jo Mooney born in December of 1952. She married a man in 1971 which changed her last name to Casselman. They divorced & she kept the last name of Casselman. My mother ended up with my biological father. My mother was 22 years old when I was born. My biological father’s presumed name is Richard Pierce. This is all the information I have on him. I got his name off my birth announcement & adoption paperwork I came across. I was born in Long Beach, California at Long Beach Community Hospital. It’s said that my biological mother died in March of 1977 in Long Beach California. I was 16 months old at the time of her death. I was adopted by my biological aunt & her husband and was moved to where they live in Washington State. My adoption took place & was finalized in Washington State in 1979. My biological aunt and her husband have told me very little about my biological mother or about what happened to her. They refuse to answer any questions. I have never talked to or met my biological father. I am assuming he knows of me because of his name being on the birth announcement but I am uncertain.
1030. Mrbarone317 : Seattle Washington to be precise, I have a birth sister that is a couple years older then me. Parents names possibly Ginger : Mother, and Shane : Father.
1032. NancyD74 : I’m looking for my twin sisters daughter who was born Mar 13 1990 at Mason general hospital in Shelton, WA. It was a somewhat open adoption. She was told she could request pictures anytime. Which she did at 3 years old . Again at 12 she really had to argue to get. She received a letter stating they had told the daughter and if she was interested at 18 they would set up a meeting. That’s the last she has heard. She reaches out to lawyer with no avail. I know my sister has never felt complete without her. But my mom was a widow raising two teen girls and we barely had food on the table. My sister knew it was the only chance for a wonderful life for her baby as day to day was a struggle for us. I would love to bring them together. Please help me
1034. AGibsonGirl : I am looking for a 60’ish man who was given up for adoption in Washington. He recently contacted someone from Starks, Louisiana and wrote a letter to Cheryl Martinez. He was apparently advised that his birth mother is Rebecca Ashworth Stanley. I believe this is incorrect. I was contacted and advised that his mother is Eileen Ashworth and that his father is my father (deceased), Norman Leon Gibson. The birth parents are both from Starks, Louisiana. The pregnant teen mother was supposedly sent away to Washington. I don’t even know yet if this is Washington state or D.C. He may be my 1/2 brother. All my immediate family (except my daughter) is deceased. He needs to know about our father, and if I have a sibling I need to know. They live in Washington. Still don’t know if that is D.C. or state.
1035. Greenelie : I am searching for my half-sister. I believe her name at birth was Catherine, born Dec 1972. Catherine had a baby, also put up for adoption, May 1991.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
