2011. ErinFredricks : I just found out I had a brother and then found out I also have another brother that was adopted in 1969. Would really love to meet him! Mother on birth certificate is Betty Elaine Thornton
2012. Mardifieldlynch : Upon obtaining my “original” birth certificate I noticed a couple discrepancies..my adopted parents had been told my birth mother was 19 years old.. certificate indicated 17 years old.. biggest difference, original certificate listed a different hospital & doctor than certificate issued to my adoptive parents..
My main purpose is to locate my birth mother, find out information about my birth father and get any medical background..I have health problems that would be nice to know if they’re more coming or if I can help someone else in the family tree...

2016. Mig8399 : My biological mother name is Mary Jane Bodine. I believe she was 18 or 19 years of age when she gave birth in Spokane Washington at a unwed woman’s shelter. The date was gave me was 9 8 1971. She said her parents made her do it and she gave birth to a baby boy. But she also told me that while she was giving birth she was blindfolded and had ear plugs in, her parents didn’t want her to see or hear the baby. When her mother called to check on her, the ear plugs came out and she heard the nurse tell her mom that my mom was fine and she gave birth to a baby boy. She stated she never saw the child and she doesn’t want to. I don’t know the truth behind this because I didn’t know of my mother until I was 13. We don’t have a strong bond, but i do with my siblings so I would love to know about this one too.

They were stationed in Spokane, WA. I do know my mother was born in Spokane, but I do not know if it was at Fairchild or off base. I do know my mother was adopted when she was about 3 months. My grandparent’s were moving to or already living in Edmonds, WA from Los Angeles, CA.
