3221. CarolynDimmer : Adopted at birth! Baby white girl born in Tacoma‚ Washington‚ March 10‚ 1967‚ at Tacoma General Hospital. My birth mother was under 18 and was shipped up here by her parents to Tacoma to live with her Aunt during the pregnancy so people back home in San Diego wouldn't know what was going on. You know‚ in the summer of 1966 it was sex‚ drugs‚ and rock and roll but not accidental pregnancies. Oooops! :) My bio father may have gone to Vietnam not sure though. I hope he's alright‚ and would like to meet him also. I would love to find that piece of my life puzzle that has been missing all my life. I knew I was adopted since I could understand the concept‚ and have been proud that I was wanted and that I was given up for a better life. I am a happy‚ loving person who has never had a close relationship with my only brother‚ older (not adopted‚ he's real). It would be absolutley wonderful to find out I may have siblings of any kind‚ full or half. I am very thankful that my birth mother was smart enough to realize she couldn't by herself‚ give me the life she wanted for me‚ and made the hardest selfless decision for the betterment of the baby. I was brought up in a loving family and now at 42 years old strongly desire some kind of resolve. I have many talents‚ a bubbly personality‚ very athletic and wonder if these traits are inherited. I have this piece of me I don't know anything about. ONLY OTHER ADOPTEES MUST KNOW WHAT I MEAN....OR HOW I FEEL. Found‚ but still lost a little bit. :) Thank you for reading.
PS. If we do find eachother‚ I will give you that hug you never got after you gave birth to me. I understand you never got to hold me‚ how sad.

My younger brother‚ Michael was born in Baltimore‚ Maryland in 1977. We also lived in Gaithersburg‚ Maryland Rockville‚ Maryland Silver Springs‚ Maryland Frederick‚ Maryland and in Los Angeles County‚ California. My father also lived in Pennsylvania‚ Florida‚ and New Hampshire. My mother also lived in Dothan‚ Alabama‚ where she passed away February 18‚ 2003. I last saw my mother in 1982/1983. My mother's sister‚ Ann Farrell (nee Skidmore) told me that my mother told her that she named my sister Ann and gave her up for adoption. My mother had two more children with a man named Rodney Bolin. I do not know them. I hope to find my sister‚ to know her‚ to love her‚ to be a part of her life. I always wanted a little sister. I am married with five children of my own and my brother‚ Michael is married with two children. I have DNA on Ancestry.com.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
