320. Butterfly1931 : My mothers maiden name on pre-adoption birth certificate says Eleanor Baker and she was 30 years old I do not have any surnames for my biological father, but recently received my pre adoption birth cert from Washington state. Doctors Hospital, Seattle, King County, Washington. It does not list my fathers name, and my mother listed her maiden name as Baker. I am starting to think my mom was married to someone else and had other children, then got pregnant with me and that is why she gave me up. Not positive, but that just seems kind of logical based on info presented to me, and my biological birth certificate. I was born on March 28, 1961 @ Doctor’s hospital in Seattle, Washington, King County. The information that was given to me by my adoptive mother was info that was given to her by the doctor that arranged, in part, for the adoption. I believe his name was Dr. Byback(sp) or Blaylock(sp). My biological mother was a bookkeeper and my biological father was a civil engineer, is what I was told. Mother might have been an identical twin as was someone on fathers side of the family. There were other siblings in the family, but I am not sure how many. My biological mother was Norwegian, with blond hair and blue eyes and my biological father was German/Irish(I believe). Parents gave me up because they said there was not enough love to go around for another baby...I do not believe my parents were married at the time...but not sure. I had a wonderful life growing up. I did not ever want for love or anything else in my life. THERE WAS NO VOID! My mother had been telling me from the day she brought me home, that she got to pick me to be her very own daughter, that I was very special and that I was adopted...so there was never any surprise about my life. I NEVER had any need to find my biological family before now. My mother passed away in 2002, my father in 2014 and I am NOW finding myself wondering about my biological family. I had one adopted brother that was about 16 month older than myself, but he passed away many years ago So, now I am back to having no siblings. I do have two adult children (my son pasted away on early 2018) of my own and there are no other aunts/uncles/cousins. My wish is to try to find my family to just see who I might look like or act like, to know something about my past that was not written on a piece of paper and handed to my Mom to give to me someday. I do not want to disrupt anyone’s life...just curious! But, would not object to meeting and being a part of anyone’s life from the past, if that is what they would like!! :)
322. Tamlhut : Baby Nelson was the name on the baby bracelet. Baby was born at University of Washington medical center in Seattle Washington and adopted in Seattle at birth as well. Adopting parents lived in Portland Oregon. Adoption Attorney was Keith Davis and Dr Jeff Borkan was delivery Dr. Baby boy was born on 4-30- 1985. I would like to connect because I have health issues, would like to know he is okay and possibly have him get to know my younger son and have a relationship with him.
323. 56Mom : I am looking for my mothers birth parents & or siblings. I don’t have to much information due to the passing of her and my grandparents. Only info I have is she was purchased by Thelma and Glenn of Whittier CA. Who later moved to the antelope valley. After my grandparents deaths in early 2000’s we found receipts for baby Glenda. No name, or addresses were on just the amount of $ and for glenda. When she married my dad they went to get her file but it was sealed and all the information they could get was it was out of Seattle Washington. I do not know how true that info is but that’s what I was told. This has been something she has been trying to do for as long as I can remember. I understand if they don’t want to be found but it would be nice to know what you are and come from.
325. Burtonk15 : I was born at Centralia hospital in Washington state. My biological mom is Gloria Maloney who’s now married to guy Maloney. I was adopted at 10 months old. In Washington state.
326. Funbama : Hospital: Maynard Hospital, Seattle WA King County.
I’ve been told no sealed records were found on my adoption.
I have no adoption paperwork. My birth certificate has no indication that I was adopted.
E Gerald Layton was family physician that facilitated adoption. Robert F Polley M.D. might also have something to do with my adoption. Both had offices in the Seattle Medical and Dental Building in Seattle #840. Both are deceased and Maynard Hospital is no longer in existance.
327. Lboyd2 : The mother was 15 and her name on the birth certificate is Dorothy Minor. I am hoping to meet her and any other family members if possible.
329. Amarlene98 : I’m an 21 year old girl looking for her biological brother who would be turning 24 in august of 2020. His birth name is Bruce Monroe Fitch, and his name now is possibly Luke Monroe, last name not known. His mothers name is Barbara.
330. Lindapayton : my birth moms name is Melody sue Davis born in virginia i just found this information out by filing for my original birth cert that came in a week ago. i was adopted in coupeville wash. in 1974 and i am very ready to have her in my life. washington unsealed the sealed records so i was able to file for it.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
