2148. Jamessc19 : Was born in Spokane. The story I was told was that my mother went to the hospital but the one she went to did not have a birthing.center or maternity ward I guess and so she was sent by ambulance to Holy Family Hospital as I was basically born in the ambulance. Not sure if any of this is true, or just a story. She then used a completely fake name and address and left the hospital that night and was never heard from again. I was adopted 2 months later on Dec 14th by my parents in Tacoma wa area.
2149. RebeccaMartin55 : My father told me his mother had a male child and put him up for adoption. My father is deceased, he always wondered about his youngest sibling.
2151. FMATTHEWS : The birth mother left the child with the father who gave the child up. The grandparents took the father to court and got the grandchild. Then the father decided to get the child back. The father dumped the child onto his wife (- the stepmother) and then abandon the wife, and child, and other children in the family. The birth mother was never married to nor continued a relationship with the birth father.
2152. FMATTHEWS : Not really an adoption more of grandparents take the child and raise it until the Father takes the child back. However, the child was raised with a step-mother and told he was adopted in Washington State. We now believe the childs mother was living in Chicago took the child to Wash State to the father who was in the military. The Father still did not want to child and tried to put up for adoption then the grandparents intervene. The mother may have worked for a jewish family in Chicago?

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
