Dawn always says she was born in Walla Walla, wa. There is no evidence Elsie gave birth to Dawn, nor any record of Dawns birth anywhere. Both Elsie and Dawn are dead. Its been suggested and and apparently hinted at, through other family members Elsie adopted Dawn, with Lewis Bright, around 1945/1946 , in Yakima,Wa.
1792. Deborajc : Looking for my mother’s kids from Dubois in Tacoma, Washington while Dubois served in the Navy. Gwendolyn Elaine Welch met Richard (Not sure of first name) Dubois in Bangor, Maine. The Dubois children’s names are Pam, Ricky, Mitchell, and another girl unknown) born in Washington between 1948-1955. Gwendolyn passed in 2011 and never knew what happened to her children and I would like to let them know where she is buried in Colorado Springs, Shrine of Remembrance Chapel Mausoleum.
