A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Washington Who Chose To Be Featured
2116. Sky2004 : I’m the mother to the adopted child’s half sister and I’m trying to help her locate her half brother. They obviously have the same father.
The adopted boy, Mason, was adopted shortly after his mother gave birth. She didn’t want a reminder of her affair with my husband (ex husband now). She told me she was giving Mason to her cousins whom lived outside of Illinois (where we all live) in a different state. I don’t remember the state she told me tho because that was 12-13 years ago.
I think my daughter deserves to know her one and only step sibling. And she wants to know him, too!
When college time comes along for both of them, I don’t want them to meet and fall in love and end up finding out too late that they are siblings. Mason’s mother, Mandy, shouldn’t want that either.
I think Mandy is afraid that if I find Mason, I will tell him about his real dad and what a narcissist he is and that Mandy doesn’t want her son to ever meet his birth father.
2117. Baldric1066 : DNA match is on 23 ande me. Born in Spokane. My parents are mostly of Swedish/Norwegian border and Finish/English/Irish descent. Possibly first generation in the US.
2119. _Tina_ : I’ve been searching for my Mom’s parents for about 11-12 years now with no luck. I know next to nothing about her adoption just that her name was Maureen, she was adopted months after birth, it was a closed adoption, and I know a couple of genetic disorders she has. I would love to talk to someone, ANYONE who can point us in the right direction to get some answers.
2120. BallewGrand : My father was born in Oakland, CA to Doris M Ballew and adopted by his step father in Seattle, WA. I’m looking for his biological father and/or other biological family members.
2121. SaundraJSutton : Birthfather was named Russell Goetz, born 5/10/1956. He lived in West Seattle. He had a child with a girl named Vicky Brockey when they were about 14 or 15 years old. They had a baby boy who was adopted.
Vicky’s father was Jerry Brockey who worked at South Seattle Community College.
My name is Saundra Goetz Sutton. I would be the adopted baby’s half sister. My father is Russ Goetz.
2122. Sheshe1 : I know I was born in wenatchee, Washington in 1964. I searched and I’m pretty sure I located my birth mother, but sadly she was deceased.
I’m looking for my birth father. Can you please help?
2127. BirthmomX2 : Hello, my name is Marcie Maryellen Ashley. My name at the time I adopted out my daughter was Marcie Maryellen Gilstrap. I currently live in Tulsa Oklahoma. I am searching for my baby girl that I gave up for adoption. She was named Cynthia Rachelle. She was born on June 9, 1990, at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane WA. Her adoption was facilitated through a counselor that I was seeing at the time and was a private adoption that was completed by this counselor and I believe an attorney. I have a letter from her adoptive parents, as well as her hospital bracelets and a photo. I gave her up for adoption because I was already a single mom of another little girl that was born in August of 1987 and again, at the time, I didn’t think that I could raise two children on my own, not because I didn’t love her. Her biological father, Perry Herriman, was only too happy to sign away his parental rights when he learned that I was planning on giving her up for adoption. I held her right after she was born while I was still in the hospital. Unfortunately, I do not know anything more than that.
2128. DarwinHawkins : Looking for baby girl Hawkins, born at about 3am in Centralia, WA. during an Emergency C-section at Providence Hospital. Sisters of Providence and their social services people arranged the adoption 2 weeks after she was born. Six doctors were in attendance.
2129. Creilly11 : Hi‚ I am searching for and sibling that my mother gave up for adoption before I was born. Im guessing in the early 70’s‚ in Washington‚ in Yakima‚ Ellensburg‚ Cle Elum‚ or Idaho possible. My mother Janet May (maiden name) Janet Reilly (married name) has passed and I have no information‚ and no one else knew about it in my family until recent.
2130. BrittneyMarie25 : The adoption was finalized in the superior court of king county Washington on October 29,1971. The sealed file number is 419525.
The original name on birth certificate is Kuhlman born to Debra Kay Kuhlman who was 15 years of age at the time.
Son was born at 7:19 pm at northwestern hospital and the doctors were F. Crea lock and T. Kelly.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
