as a wayward minor. I hired a confidential intermediary in the late 1990's and was able to obtain a copy of my original birth certificate. The person listed as my birth father is Richard Gau (Ric‚ Rich‚ Rick). I was told he was from the Richmond Beach area‚ spoke with my paternal grandmother on the phone once and was unfortunately told to drop it and never call again as he was married with children and couldn't be disturbed. My birth mother passed away in her early 60's‚ not much older than I am now. I'm just hoping I'm not too late to find my birth father. She put another child‚ a son‚ up for adoption 2 years before me and I would love to find him as well!
