1458. TaraMurphy : I am searching for my half sister. We think her name was Michelle. At the time my mother’s name was Ann L Canfield’s, later remarried as Murphy. Her maiden name is O’Leary. Michelle would have been her 3rd born daughter in Boston City Hospital in Feb (?) 1956. My mother since passed away in 1989, I am her youngest, born in 1973. However my two oldest sisters would be full blood sisters. Their names are Cheryl and Karen. We believe Michelle was adopted by a family in Newton MA. My mother was hospitalized in Boston for polio around the time of Michelle’s birth.
1459. Lisastaton : My name is Lisa Staton and currently live in the state of Virginia. I am looking for my birth parents and any possible brothers and sisters etc. My birth mother was Marina P. Hovsepian, I was told she was 18 and was of Romanian heritage and my father (name unknown) was 19 and was Irish. I was born 9/11/1963. I have my original baptism certificate from a St. Margaret Church in Dorchester, Mass. from 9/13/63 with my birth name of Dorean Maria Hovsepain. I found this was enclosed with a letter from the Catholic Charitable Bureau of Boston Mass. I also have in my possession the social worker card with the name of Louise M. Gernelli of Boston Mass. and lawyer involved of was Edward B. McCusker from Waltham, Mass.
I have always felt that I did not "belong" to my parents and was confirmed just before I got married at age 21. I did not begin my search for my birth parents till both my adopted parents passed, the last being my father in 2009. I was told that I was born at Mass. General in Boston Mass but wonder if that is correct upon learning there was a home for unwed mothers near the St. Margaret church in Dorchester, Mass of the name of St. Mary’s and the hospital was St. Margaret’s.
I was cared for by a lady that lived in the same apt. complex as my adoptive parents lived. I was told my "real" grandmother would come visit me and I have a needlework picture 0f a little blonde girl kneeling praying and is hanging on my office wall as we write. My adoptive parents lived in Waltham , Mass and moved to Warwick Rhode Island. My adoptive mom told me some one called looking for me there when I was about 2 years old.
I am curious to know my genetics and health history and to see if I have any brothers and sisters and if my parents are still alive. I would love to connect if they would wish to know me.
1462. Charrigan : I was born in Lynn, MASS March 26, 1974. All I know is that my parents were young - likely high school age and they gave me up for a better family since they could not not and/or wanted to have a child at a young age. I don’t know much more since my adoptive parents have deceased and I could not find any paperwork on my adoption like I was a ghost after they passed. I just want to find my biological parents - I have no bad feelings toward them, I just want to meet them even if it is once just to see them and talk about some of my questions but no judgement on my end.

1468. BeMierz : I’m seeking the daughter of Patsy Nolan. She named the baby Patricia Ann who was born with red hair. Adoption would have been through the Catholic Charitable Bureau of Boston (I have documentation that the baby was born there.) I have letters, written by her mother that I assume would be of interest. In a way, I hope Patsy Nolan kept her child, but I have no way of knowing what happened to either of them
1469. KayPea0505 : Beth Israel Hospital in Boston Mass is where I was born. I was told that my biological mother was white‚ in early 20s and working as a telephone switchboard operator and biological father was african-american working as a cab driver. They were not in relationship and reportedly healthy at the time. Would love to just connect and learn more - even if just one time.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
