A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Massachusetts Who Chose To Be Featured
2506. Shaunett : I was born in Southbridge‚ Massachusetts. My birth mother was Esperanza Bradway. I’m looking for my father. He owned a donut shop in Southbridge in 1985 and went by the name Gus.
2507. Elizabethlockhart : Birth name Mark McKenney.
He was adopted through catholic charities.
I believe he was born at mt auburn hospital
Birth mother was not quite 16. Took many weeks to make decision to release child for adoption
2513. AllyssaEdwards : Seeking my biological sister. Her name was Christine Lee Edwards. She was born September 22‚ 1977 in Lynn‚ Massachusetts (or Revere‚ or surrounding area). Our mother is Cynthia "Cindee" Edwards (now Crowley). It is highly possible that the adoption was facilitated through Catholic Charities in Lynn‚ Massachusetts. A woman named Anne Davis was the worker. She formed a lifelong relationship with my mother. However‚ she would never tell my mother‚ or me‚ anything. My mother got the impression that Christine’s name was changed. She possibly lived near Easton‚ Ma at one point‚ but it was a vague impression my mother was given. Christine was born prematurely (at 7 months). Her lungs had collapsed. She had light brown hair. She is blind in one eye. I believe it is the left‚ the opposite of our mother that is blind in her right eye. She had scars on her fingers from a burn. They may have faded by adulthood. I believe she was adopted around April of 1979. The last picture we have of her was then. It was of her and our mother‚ who was pregnant with me at the time. Our mother did not want to give her up. But she was young (she was 17 when she gave birth to her) and easily influenced. They basically made her feel that‚ as a teenaged mother with another on the way‚ she had no choice. Her family was Catholic‚ so I imagine that played a factor in how they viewed her. My mother has always regretted it and is still affected to this day. She told me about Christine all my life. I have no other siblings. I have been searching for her for nearly 30 years. I would give anything to finally find my sister.
2515. Dalex1982 : My fathers names is Arthur Cross

Patty Cross Sept 26 1987 her mom is Lillian Cross
1 brother Arthur Steven Cross January 12 1979 he was adopted in June of 1981
2516. MomRuth : Hi. I was 16 at the time of my son’s ‚ he was born at Providence Hospital in Holyoke Mass. The docto. was Dr. Applejery. The adoption was done through Child and Family Srvices in Springfield Mass.
2517. MaddieFlmng : I’m looking for my cousin who was adopted through Sisters of Providence in Holyoke‚ Massachusetts. The adoption was closed. Her birth given name would have been Rachael/Rachel. Her birth parents were teenagers. Birth mother’s name is Anastasia (or Stacy) O’Connell and I believe the father’s name is Chris Caminiti‚ but I’m not 100% sure.
2519. Judithk61 : My nephew was adopted within days of birth through the Catholic Charities Assoc of Massachusetts. I have both birth parents names‚ he was my brothers first child and only boy.
2520. Jglasco : Seeking my brother that got put up for adoption - The only thing I know is that his name was/is Jeffrey and he was born maybe 2+ years after I was. My moms name is Tricia Glasco & his dad’s name is Stephen Hill. My mother and I lived in Rockland‚ Massachusetts - I was too young to be aware of anything & I’m unable to get answers from anyone‚ so I’m hoping we can have some luck with this route.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
