A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Massachusetts Who Chose To Be Featured
1396. Spunk : I am a birth mom searching for my birth daughter born 01/04/1966 st Margaret’s hospital Dorchester mass went threw catholic charities in Boston mass
1398. Mstinson1019 : My Mother was adopted by her foster family as a baby/toddler. I believe she had siblings she was separated from. I am interested in finding my Mother’s birth parents or siblings.
1400. Jenn382 : I was separated at birth‚ and adopted into a wonderful family. I was born Dec. 17‚ 1981 in Boston‚ MA.
Birth name was Jennifer Pond. Adoption was handled through Catholic Charities.
1403. Dsyeaton : We looked for decades for a missing cousin. We found his sibling several years ago via cousinconnect and him this year (2019) via DNA, about two weeks before their birth mother our aunt died.
She was born in 1960 and adopted in FL. He was born in 1958, adopted in CA, and lives in UT.
At our aunt’s funeral, neighbors told us that in her last months, she told them she had children. Three or four children. Neighbors have told us that the aunt (born 1936) became pregnant in high school (1950-1955 if this is true) or at age 17 (1953-1954 if this is true) and was sent to FL to have the baby.
We do not know much: mother’s maiden name, if listed: Anderson, birth state of mother: MA, she was very tall and thin, loved animals and dogs, Danish, German, English ethnicity. We have done DNA on ancestrydna and 23andme.
If this is you....or you think it could be you because part of the story matches...please do DNA testing so that we can see if we match!
And we are unsure why there were said to be: three or four children. Could it have been twins, which run in our family? Or is there another child with a different birth year and possible different birth and adoption state? These birth years are only guesses...it conceivably could have been any time after her birth in 1936 as maybe a teen (1949 or before?) to menopause (maybe before 1986?) but most likely in the 1950s or 1960s. Do any of these guesses for you or someone you know? We are a dozen cousins looking for decades!
1404. BeatriceAnne : My name is Bea. I was born in Seattle, on July 30th, 2001. My birth mom was 14 when she had me, and left me on the steps of the Swedish Family Medicine Clinic in Seattle when I was a newborn wrapped in her white shirt (which I kept) along with a note that said something along the lines of “I can’t take care of this child, god take care of my child, god bless whoever takes care of my baby” or something like that. I can’t quite remember. All I know is she most likely delivered me herself, she had no money, and didn’t want to be found. The reason why I can’t even begin to imagine. But I am here now reaching out in any way I can. Because I want to find her. I want to find my family. It’s been a longing in my heart for my whole life. Additional info: The Doctor at the hospital was Doctor Sorensen (I think that’s how it’s spelled). That info may not be relevant though. God please please let me find somebody related to me. It would mean the world.

1407. Onefineseamstres : We have reason to believe that my father might have had a child with his first wife. As far as we know, the child would have been a girl, likely born about Oct 1950 think early Oct. Would have likly been born around the Boston area of MA.
We have reason to believe that the father never really knew about the child... It was kept from him.
If a child did exist, the birth mother was Grace Fegan Melton, (MA)
Father Charles Melton (VA)
Both are now deceased... This has been like a mystery for years
