A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Massachusetts Who Chose To Be Featured
991. Jhking : My mom put her daughter for adoption several years before I was born (I was born 1990) - I think it could have been up to ten years before me. I believe she was put up for adoption shortly after being born. I vaguely remember when I was little (we were living in Somerville, MA) we received a letter from her and it even had a picture of her. My family has not been able to find that letter unfortunately. My mom is Vietnamese, so I would expect my half sister to also be half Vietnamese like me! (I think the biological father of my half sister was white, although I do not know for sure). I would love to somehow find this half sister of mine!
992. Jordanalice1057 : Looking for my natural mother. I was born in Boston 10/18/57. I have no hard feelings about being put up for adoption, I’m just curious about medical history, looks, personalities, etc.
994. Taylorchild1950s : I am searching for a woman who was born near Cambridge Massachusetts either in the early 1950’s. She had a news article in a paper in, i believe, in the late 1960’s or early 1970’s. All i remember hearing was she said Taylor was the mother’s last name. Someone sent a member of our family the newspaper clipping anonymously. It did not show the date of the article or which paper it was in. All my mom remembers is that when she was a child her mother went away for a little while and when she came back she cried a lot. I would like to find this woman if possible. My grandmother died in 1969. I don’t know her name or exactly when she was born. So this is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
997. Nathanisic : I am one of 9. I know of Teresa crystal Michael nickie bettey and cannot remember the rest. Our mother is dead so I have heard. I am 32 now from boston Massachusetts born Aug 22 1991.
998. Sarah1962 : I was born November 1 1962 and my sister was born April 27 1961. We were told that we had the same mother and different fathers. We were also told that our mother was killed in a car crash. I was supposedly born at the Northampton Hospital and my sister at Holyoke Hospital. Adoption was possibly arranged through Family Planning in Northampton, MA.
1000. Arstr17 : Donald Arthur Belliveau 12-31-35, adopted by Arthur & Sophie Belliveau. Worcester MA.
Adopted within 4 months of birth.
I am the son.
Would like to know birth parents
1001. Claireer : Birth name Alan (Allen? Allan?) Bruce Howe. Father studying to be undertaker. Birth parents likely teenagers. Adopted in Brookline from orphanage.
1002. Catherined1379 : I was adopted as a baby and am interested in finding out more information about my birth family. Mostly my mother and long lost brother who should be about a year and a half older than me. I have a blood related brother and blood related sister whom i do know and am curious about siblings i dont know. Born at Cape Cod Hospital. I believe my moms name is Stacey Johnson
1003. Catherined1379 : I was born after the brother i am looking for. Our birth mother gave him to Catholic Services right away. We also have an older sister and brother that i do know. Would love to connect. I Dont Actually know the year my brother was born either 1995 or 1996. and i dont know month or day. Moms name is Stacey Johnson
1004. CharlesBowmanIII : Father’s name: Charles William Bowman
Mother’s name: Diane Corliss (not sure of spelling)
All I know is that my brother was born a year or two before me (I was born in Sept. 1970) in
possibly VT, NH, MA or ME.
Was told that my father was going to marry my brother’s mother, but she did not show up to the wedding and gave my brother up for adoption.
I do not know the birth date, but had to pick something above.
1005. Bostonia1972 : I was given up for adoption at birth in the Boston, MA area. My biological mother’s name is Debra DeRosa, and my grandfather’s name is John DeRosa and Grandmother’s name is Terri. They lived in Charlestown, MA. From what I was told, I have 2 sisters, and that I know of one brother, that I found. My brother and I have no further information.
My grandfather’s brothers are Thomas and George, all were raised in Charlestown, MA.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
