Then when school started my girlfriend was suddenly pulled from school with no explanation. I tried to see her but her parents told me that they decided send her to a private school and that I was not allowed to see her anymore. That did not stop be and I tried to see her but was unsuccessful. I graduated June 11, 1969. I left for Parris Island to become a US Marine June 17, 1969 because I was still heartbrokenand thought being a Marine would help me forget. I came home on leave in October before I left for Vietnam. I got a call from my sweetheart that she wanted to see me. She told me I had a daughter. Her name was Kristine. She was born in Boston, Brighton to be exact, in either June or July of 1969. I was so shocked some things didn’t sink in. Since that day I have had a hole in my heart. I have looked for you, thought I had found you only to be crushed by disappointment. However, I have made some beautiful friendships and helped others find thier biological parents. I’m ready to try again to fill this void in my life. Are you looking for me? You have been in my heart, thoughts and prayers everyday. I’m here.
