I don’t know when the baby boy was born‚ but was probably between 1943 and 1952. I also don’t know what state the adoption was in because she was sent away while pregnant. Mother’s much younger sister believes that she visited her once while she was pregnant so it was probably in Massachusetts or in the New England area. Mother was from Medford‚ Massachusetts. The father of the baby boy is unknown. The child may have been conceived at a mental health hospital in Worcester‚ Massachusetts‚ so it could have been a fellow patient or an employee of the hospital. The US Census has her listed in Worcester State Hospital in the 1950 Census.
