A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Massachusetts Who Chose To Be Featured
841. ScottLashua : I was born at Burbank Hospital in Fitchburg Massachusetts on September 23rd, 1975. My birth name was Scott Lashua. My fiance found an old newspaper article as she was researching for me that had my my birth name in it where they were asking if anyone wanted to contest to the adoption, looking for my father mainly. I was adopted out to a terrible family that was abusive and neglectful. They hit me a lot. I never was hugged or cared about at all by them and they were very physically abusive. Their names were Harold and Bonnie Campbell. My name was then changed to Scott Campbell. I would very much like to know the family I came from originally. I’m not looking for money of any kind. Just to know my real family.
844. Namaste2todos : My birth mom was born Joan Marie Tullos in 1942. I believe she was around 3 when she was adopted so I don’t know her name. My birth father’s name was Ernest, and I believe he was in the Navy. My birth certificate shows I was born in Worcester, Massachusetts
845. GaryMangual : I think I have a brother named mike and a sister named lisa
I was born in Worcester Mass
I was pulled from my parents by the state multiple times before I was finally removed. All adoption files are sealed because that’s what you wanted at the time. I hope you have changed your mind and want to find me as much as I want to find you.
846. Lilajoce : My birth sister was born at Falmouth Hospital in Falmouth Massachusetts in October or November (14th) in 1978. Her birth mothers name was Ellen Nelson.
847. Greenelie : I am searching for my half-sister. I believe her name at birth was Catherine, born Dec 1972. Catherine had a baby, also put up for adoption, May 1991.
848. Wanear : Maud S. Jones from Canada gave birth to Ellsworth Hathaway Pond. The family is seeking Ellsworth’s father’s name. The adoption was through Florida, Mass.
849. Gayle2118 : Mothers name would be Muriel Doris Churchill, or Could be under the last name’s...Janda or Bennett. Muriel was born May 22, 1928 in Massachusetts..died Oct 1980 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her mother was Ruth Gladis Widtfeldt. And her father’s name was George Howard. Churchill. My Mother Muriel married a man 1944 named William H Janda but they divorced not long after. They had a child named Linda Claire Janda. (December 18,1945)
She then married my father Charles John Bennett in Baltimore Maryland in 1948 and he adopted Linda shortly after because her father was not in her life.
Prior to my father passing away he informed me my mother gave a child up for adoption and he thought it was a male to the Jewish adoption center. He couldn’t give me any other information so I assume it was before their marriage in 1948.
Thank You for any assistance in this matter.
Gayle Bennett Donato
PS: I don’t know when he was born or the month he was born.
