1876. Lostkini2u : Adoption from Boston, delivered within eight days from my biological mother through clergy directly to my adopted parents. I was sent with a few items from my biological mother. Only she would know. She made the arrangements before my birth. She did not want to be contacted or have her family know about me in the future. It was well arranged and secretive.
I would like some medical history to pass on. Possibly historical ancestor country of origin, ethniticity, religion. My adopted grandmother recognized the name of the biological mother or father on the adoption papers but took the name(s) to her grave. She hid those papers from my parents in case some one else recognized it. It makes me think she knew where I came from. Am I at all related to the family that adopted me. Historical background English? Ireland? Welch? French, etc? General information. The biological father was not mentioned. She was educated?, un-married? During Vietnam war period, did my biological father die in the war? I have no information on him.
I know my birth weight. I may have been born early. Caucasian, fair hair, blue eyes.
I know where I was born and the church used in bringing me from my biological mother to my parents. We moved once the adoption was finalized in court out of state.
Am I related to my adopted parents at all?
My children look just like me. Genetics?
Privacy will be honored. I will not contact you. I just want to know why I bear a strong resemblance to my adopted family? Why did my grand mother recognize your name. I know the adoption was arranged in great detail prior to my birth so that I would not be placed in an adoption or foster home.
Thank you. I had wonderful parents, a large loving family. I had a wonderful life. My children deserve just to know their medical history and general heritage. The next generation should know too.
1877. Mattma93 : I was born February 20,1993 in Asuncion. I moved to the United States in summer 1993 when I was adopted by American parents. I now live in Texas.
1878. KathleenTherrien : Child was probably born in Worcester, MA. or nearby.
Birth name was John Izbicki. Birthdate August 4, 1962
Birth mother’s name was Roberta Izbicki.
This baby was a foster child of my parents and was my “brother” for a year and a half. My parents were considered too old (in their 40’s) and so were not allowed to adopt him.
My mother grieved for his loss and I am still trying to find him, if possible.
He would be 59 yrs old now.
1880. Adriagg : My name is Adria and in August of 1992 I relinquished to adoption. At that time I lived in RI. The adoption was done through Adoptions with Love in Newton, MA. I had the privilege of selecting the adoptive parents Patty and Steve, they named her Eva.
1881. Rosieblookn : I am looking for my nephew who was born on MARTHAS VINEYARD, MASSACHUSETTS. He was adopted through CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS.
THE YEAR AND MONTH OF HIS BIRTH MAY BE OFF A LITTLE.
The information I have is the bare minimum. Been wanting to find my nephew for years. I have the 23 & me DNA info but the members who share same or similar DNA as mine has NOT included a man that would be his approximate age & or on the family tree,
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Auntie
