530. EowynDorothy112 : We are doing genealogy research and discovered my husband’s father, James Richard O’Brien, was born in Wisconsin in 1889 and adopted by William J O’Brien in Massachusetts. We believe the adoption took place around 1900, but are unsure if it took place in Wisconsin or Massachusetts. His birth date was September 19, 1889. We also believe his sister, Alice Elizabeth O’Brien, was born in Wisconsin as well a few years after he was. Unfortunately, we have no info as to his birth parents’ names or locations. My father-in-law passed away in 1968.
531. KristyB733 : My name is Kristy I am 33 years old and was adopted about 3 1/2 years old or so out foster care in which I was placed in 3-4 foster homes before being adopted. I was born in Worcester at the old Saint Vincent hospital on October 4th 1984. I only remember small details of what my adopted parents described my parents to look like. My mother is short like me with red hair like my biological sister who was adopted by the same adopteive parents and my dad was tall like my sister with brown hair like me. My mom was described to me as mentally ill and couldn’t take care of us and my father wanted nothing to do with us and was at some point in his life arrested. My mother was from Oklahoma, but not sure if where and my dads family resided in Grafton mass at some point but not sure if they are there anymore. I really want to find my mother to show her that I still love her no matter what the circumstances and that I am a great mother now and want to know more about my heritage and what health problems I may face down the road since I have no known health history. Mom if ur out there I hope too meet you, but if you are no longer with us I’m still thinking of you. Even if we never had a relationship when I was born or what I have gone through I thank you for giving me life.
535. Sherrigun : I am looking for info for my grandfather, who was adopted. His name was George Edwin Adams. I hear that his natural family’s name was Taggart.
He grew up in Stoughton, MA.
That’s about all I know. I’m trying to trace more of my lineage through his natural family.
Thank you.
