He was adopted at infancy‚ I believe in February. Our birth parents were young & unmarried at that time & they were "pressured" into adoption. The name of the adoption agency was Family & Children’s Service. I believe your adoption took place in the Lynn‚ Massachusetts office. They are still open but‚ no longer do adoptions I contacted them years ago & told me you wrote a letter to our birth- mother‚ but‚ would give me no other information without written consent from her. (Which wasn’t given). As a side note‚ I can honestly say it was for the best. They were married in 1970 after the birth of 2nd child. A girl named Susan borm 2/1970. Then 18 months later had their 3rd & last child (me) on 6/21/1972. Eventually we were all put up for adoption.
My brother’s name at birth was David Henry Holmes Jr. Our bio-father’s namesake.
So much more to share with you & I hope you find this!

1259. MTVET19 : I am searching for my maternal grandparents. I was born in Boston on February 13, 1974. My birth name was Lorie Anne. I do not know my last name or any last names of my family. I do know my parents names were Cindy and Robert and they were both 17-18 when I was born. I know my mother had me in a maternity home but took me home from the hospital with her. I was placed in foster care for about a month and then brought back home until I was given up for adoption. From what I understand my mother tried hard to make it work to keep me. I know she struggled and my father wasn’t involved at all. My grandfather wanted to adopt me but she didn’t want him to because she didn’t get along very well with her step-mother. I know my mother had a younger sister. If I could find her ( my aunt ) that would be amazing also. I’m assuming I have siblings out there somewhere. I so long to find someone that looks like me.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
