A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Massachusetts Who Chose To Be Featured
1066. Wildtech : I am looking for both my birth parents and brother. I was born January 5, 1977. My birth certificate says I was born in Bangor Maine and the my mother’s name is Doris Leah Gail Butler, and my fathers name is VanTran (we do not believe he is my father). My brother is named Adam and we were both taken away from our mother by the state of Florida sometime in the very early eighties. There was a man trying to get visitation with me while I was in foster care but could not prove relation (we think he may have been my father).
1068. MARYELIZOCONNOR : At the time of my birth, my mother was 26 years old, 5’2 and 118lbs. She had medium complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. She was the only child of Catholic parents of English decent. She was a college grad and worked as a teacher for 4 years. My birth father was 28, 6’ tall, 190lbs and of Lithuanian decent. At the time of my mother’s referral to Catholic Charites on 10/8/1962 she had been married for 5 months to a man to whom she was engaged for 7 years. During the year before her marriage, she became briefly involved with my birth father. At the time of marriage, my mother’s husband was unaware of the pregnancy. Long story short, her and her husband decided to give me up and tell family members she had lost the baby. I was born in Boston Lying-In-Hospital and baptized 11/30/1962 at St. Mary’s Church in Franklin, MA. I am hoping to find any living family members.
1072. Nitelite : Birth mother’s name is Rita Mae Nye. She was born May 6, 1933. Last known address is in Indiana, but she was a dancer and traveled the US.
1073. Kimaylward2969 : I am searching for my sister. Her name at birth was Denise Lorraine Smith. My mom is still alive and her name is Dianne Halley (smith). I am hoping to try and find my sister in hopes to fill a sad void for My mom and family. My mom had a quadruple bypass last year and to fully heal her heart would be the greatest gift. Thank you for your help
Kim Aylward (Halley)
1074. Coolmom212017 : She lives with my other sister they changed her name but she was born on January 21st 2003. Our mothers name is genna Marie friend. I do know bey lived in Fitchburg for a little while. We were suppose to get pictures but we only got them for a year and I’ve never seen any since then. I am now 20 with a son and they are aunts and every night I cry not knowing what they even look like. My grandmother is getting old and she thinks about them everyday. My grandmother has custody of me hazel friend, my brother James friend, and my other brother Darian friend.
1078. CAADmommy4 : was born in Framingham, Mass. know there is an older sister. was placed at home for little wanders in Boston, mass. have Italian heritage along with other European heritage.
1079. KatrinaGaumond : My birth name was Katrina Gaumond. I believe I was born at baystate hospital. My adoptive mother claims to have met my birth parents during visitations. From my knowledge I was a month old or younger when I was taken away. The day I was placed in my one and only foster home I had emergency surgery to correct a herniated diaphragm muscle. The only names I know are possibly Diane/Debra Gaumond. I have no clue of my birth father’s name but I believe he was initially involved in visits. I believe my grandparents wanted custody but had health issues. This could be wrong as well. I believe I had an aunt as well who may have been interested. I was told my name was legally changed to hide my identity from said aunt for some reason. While I was taken away young I wasn’t adopted until about 4 years old. I was placed in a Springfield home but do not know how local to that my birth family is/was. I am open to any type of relationship any of my biological family is comfortable with. Even getting nothing but medical history would mean the world to me. I don’t want to make waves if I am unwanted but I would be open to a relationship with my biological parents, possible siblings, cousins, aunts/uncles or anything. As far as my knowledge goes I was the first child to both of my parents. Im not even sure how serious their relationship was or if it survived losing me. I hold no hard feelings towards any of my biological family. I have children of my own now as well.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
