A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Massachusetts Who Chose To Be Featured
1771. Terriking : My mom was actually adopted by her aunt Helen Noble. Her moms name would have been Louise C. Bory, or Yakes. My moms adopted name is Jane E Noble. I think Louise may have named her Nancy or Louise at birth. My mom found out that Louise was her birth mother when passing. She never told her who her birth father was. She was born in Medford MA, Feb. 25, 1941. My mom has since passed and I have been trying to find out this information since my mom always wanted to know. She would finally be a peace if I could find this information out. Any help would be greatly appreciated..
1773. Angel69127 : I am searching for my grandma’s oldest sister. She was born in Oregon in 1919 but I don’t know if that is where the adoption took place. Her birth mom’s family originated from Virginia or West Virginia. Her birth mom died July 6, 1919. The name on the records I’ve found show her birth name as Marie Lois Hodges.
1775. Csedler97 : I am searching on behalf of my mother, cathy (named Lisa marie at birth, last name unknown). Here’s what we know: She was born with two thumbs on her right hand (polydactyly) She was born in either Saint Margaret’s or Saint Elizabeth’s hospital. She was adopted through catholic charities. We both did 23 and me and then traced a bunch of our relatives and concluded that her father MAY be Harold E. Pike Jr. of Cary, NC, formerly of Springfield. We know for sure that her father is Northern European and descended from the pikes in Massachusetts and Maine. He would’ve been most likely born between 1945 and 1948. Her mother was mostly, if not all Portuguese, likely descended from/related to Silvas and was most likely born between 1947 and 1950.
1776. Markweibesr : In 1986, my then girlfriend and I (we were teenagers) placed a newborn baby boy (whom we called Marty) for adoption at a hospital in Boston through Catholic Charities. We lived in NH but the baby was born in Boston (Boston Mass?) and was placed with adoptive parents directly from the hospital.
1777. Rrubinbeman : Jamie Rubin/Blackman/Pfiel was given up for adoption to Jewish family services of Boston sometime right before or after his mother committed suicide 1972 and his father and father’s family did not wish to raise him as their own. I’m not sure what the official last name was for Jamie as all those involved are long since dead. I am searching to try to reconnect you to my mom and aunt‚ your sisters.
1778. Mandm19801 : Allegedly you were born at Orlando Medical Center in December of 1982 or 83. Your birth mothers name was likely listed as Sue ,Susie, or Susan, "R" or "Ria" for middle name, and Hill or something different I would not even know, for the last name. You may have even been male female or female female twins, we aren’t sure. I was told one (if there are more of you, I don’t know) was born "Baby Girl H" but my mom called you "Melissa". You would have German heritage, the known sibling has very blonde hair, hazel eyes, and fair skin. Please reach out here, with no concern that anything confidential, esp contact information would ever be released. My job as an investigator is to find you and give you the options, that’s all. Thank you, I hope to meet you some day.
1779. Dolly16 : My mother now deceased name was Alice Carter. We are African American. She had my brother in August either 1966 or 1967. He never went home with her but was adopted as an infant. He was born at Boston Medical Center. Name of hospital in 60’s was called Boston City Hospital. His father was Roland Walker. He would be in his 50’s 2022.
1780. MBW1956 : My Birth Mother was Brenda Louise Pelletier
She lived on Jewett St , Pepperell , Mass
She is no longer living . I do not know who my father is.
1781. AMDillman : Birth mother Ann Martha Dillman born in Cambridge Mass 1930 looking for siblings born to her. Her last known address was NYC. Birthdates and years born of siblings unknown .Not even sure if they were adopted in Massachusetts or New York or somewhere else.
1782. SunnyApril : I am looking for my brother born on St Patrick’s Day in Hennepin County Minnesota. Most likely at Hennepin County General Hospital. Placing agency was Lutheran Children’s Friend Society (Lutheran Social Service). Most likely birthdate is 17 Mar 1965. Birth mother’s last name is Johnson. Unsure of bio dad’s name or what was put on the birth certificate. St Patrick’s day 1965 in Minneapolis was a huge blizzard.
1783. Kerrysgirl : My mother birthed a son sometime between 1959-1961 (most likely 1960). I was told she was at a catholic home for unwed mothers in Worcester, MA. The child was possibly named John Patrick at birth.
1784. JanGoren : Thinking of you on your birthday. I don’t know the name of adopting agency but I went to the Florence Crittenden Home for Unwed Mothers in a Boston suburb. You were born at Boston Lying-In Hospital. I am trying to provide understanding, health information, and to make myself available if you are interested in contacting me.
