1741. Daniel1949 : I was born on May 15, 1949 at St. Mary’s Maternity Home in Boston. My birth mother’s name was Myers from Michigan. She was 26 years old.
1743. Baneena : My name at the time of his birth was Sabrina Anne Lajoie. He was born at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. He was named John Francis and his original birth cert will have him listed as John Francis Lajoie. His adopted parents names are Julie and John who goes by Jack. They lived in Massachusetts and were high school sweethearts. Julie was a school teacher and Jack worked at the school as well but not in an educational position. Maintenance or janitorial possibly. We used Boston Adoption Bureau which has since shut down after the loss of Marilyn Spieser (sp?). They also had another adopted child named Brien!!! He was possibly between 5and 8 at the time of John’s birth. He had just had his tonsils out and was transferred to the hospital I had John at so that Jack and Julie could be at the hospital.

1748. CBateman190 : I’m in search of my Father’s birth parents. As far as any records or knowledge on his birth mother, I have found nothing. As I get older I’m natural curious as to my father’s biological side. My grandmother isn’t doing so well and never had much knowledge of my father’s birth mother so I would like to explore any answers that may be out there. All I really know is that he was born in Boston and was adopted around 6months.
1750. DonnaMayo : Mother was 22 years of age, Catholic and Italian descent. Father was around 35 years of age, died of heart attack in April 1942. Mother had 2 brothers and one sister. Mother unable to care for baby because she was needed at home to care for her own ill mother. She originally requested temporary placement.
Mother worked in a shoe factory. Baby was born at Allerton Hospital in Brookline. Mother’s sister contacted Catholic Charities on 6/9/42 regarding placement of the baby.
Baby was transferred to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton on 6/14/42. Baptized in the hospital on 6/15/42 and named Francis. He was in foster care with Mr. & Mrs "N" until 2/17/44. He was placed in his adoptive home on 3/24/44.
