2582. Reh923 : I am searching for my birth mother. My twin and I were born in Boston‚ MA in September 1968. My birth mother's first name is Janet (according to the birth records).
What I do know:
1) Her place of birth.
2) My birth name‚ as well as that of my twin.
3) The adoption agency
4) and a few other personal details of her situation at the time of our birth
I am reluctant to disclose much else in this posting that I can use to confirm the veracity of someone contacting me.
I want her to know that life has been good - please be in touch
2583. ParisL : Looking for My Brother – Hoping to Reconnect with Family
Hello‚ my name is Indigo (Smith) Metellus. My mother’s name was Mary Ellen Thomas‚ though her family called her Penoy (like the flower)‚ and my father called her Penny.
I am searching for my older brother‚ whose name at birth was Paris London (possibly Paris London Thomas). Here is what I know about him and his adoption:
• Born in 1977 or 1978 (around 46–47 years old today)
• Described as a “chocolate baby boy”
• Born either in New York or Massachusetts
• Adoption happened before he was a year old‚ possibly through an agency in Boston
• My mother was very young (16 when pregnant‚ 17 when she gave birth) and was staying at Phoenix House in New York at the time‚ but it wasn’t related to drug issues—she was just struggling and needed support.
• Adoption may have been handled by DSS or by an agency directly.
• He was adopted by a couple‚ possibly from Newton‚ Massachusetts.
I am trying to find any information‚ or leads about my brother Paris London‚ born in 1977/78 in either NY or Boston.
Our mother passed away 10 years ago but before she did she asked me to find him. I want him to know she never stop thinking about him and he has four sisters that know about him and would love to meet him.
My aunt said that when my mom came back home he looked just like my mom. He was wanted but she was young and homeless and wanted him to have a better life.
If you recognize this story‚ know the family‚ or have any guidance on how I might track down adoption records from that time‚ I would be deeply grateful.
Thank you so much for reading and for any help you can offer.
— Indigo Metellus

2587. TaylorSean : My half-brother was named Sean Walker (Sean Patrick Walker) at birth. He was born to Angela Walker and our shared father William Babbin (who passed away same year as Aaron's birth). I was 3 years old at the time. Sean was born in Massachusetts and his birth year would have been 2000‚ possibly born before August of 2000. He has many half siblings from mother's side‚ only me from his father's side. CPS took him from mother when he was under a year old. He may not know he is adopted due to his age at adoption.
