A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Massachusetts Who Chose To Be Featured
646. FaithEden123 : I was born in Worcester MA. My biological mothers name is Marion Dauplaise. She is schizophrenic and gave me up for adoption. Her parents names are John and Marion Dauplaise. My biological mom has a twin sister and three other sisters. She supposedly went to California by herself when she was in her mid thirties. That’s where she met my father and came back pregnant with me but doesn’t remember anything about my father. My biological mom was born on 12/23/1960. I really want to find my father.
648. Janer36 : I am looking for my birth parents. I was adopted from Boston in 1963 and mother and father traveled from another state together to have me in Boston. They worked with a case worker that was at Family services on Joy st. in Boston. I was given up 5 days after my birth and my parent’s left together to travel back to their home state. They were 20 and 19 at the time of my birth.
649. Jmt1935 : He was adopted through Catholic Charities in Boston, ma
He was born in Boston City Hospital
His parents names are John and Mary McLaughlin who are both deceased
651. Jenniburr01 : My father traveled for work and I know that I have other siblings. I’m not sure of names or birth dates. He passed away when I was a year old. This siblings would be from my father only and not my mother. He was from Hickory/Newton MS.
653. AliciaAnneCondon : I was born in Holyoke MA 10/9/65 at Providence Hospital to a 19 year old woman by the name of Ellen Gayle Murphy. Her parents were named Burke and Helen Murphy she had two young brothers named Barry and Keith Murphy. Ellen, an unwed mother who was sent to live in a home for unwed mothers, told social workers that the birth father had agreed to marry her but that she wanted to continue college. When I contacted this woman in 1993, it was done in a mature and compassionate way: I sent 1 3 paragraph registered letter assuring the recipient that I didn’t want to bother her, but was simply reaching out to see if there was an interest. One phone call was enough to convince me that Ellen had some serious personality disorders and anger issues. She was a closed-off person who expressed surprise and shock that her own mother knew of my birth. (She thought the secret had died with her father in 1983.) She provided some false information to me (I had done research and so I knew that I had siblings) and when I asked to know the name of my birth father, she declined to provide her name. I believe that Ellen may have lied to social services about my father. Over the years, I’ve gradually come to realize that Ellen stole my birth father from me, and me from him. It’s time for this loss to be remedied.
658. Relado : Daughter‚ adopted 12/18/86‚ born 3/1/86‚ was going to be names Lauren i believe. Birth moms name i believe to be Kelly. Born in Gardner Ma
