136. Maryellen1977 : Adoption was through Catholic Charities.
My birth mother was Irish‚ about 19 when pregnant‚ and she kept it well hidden. Her name was Dorothy Ann Perry. She was in a car accident sometime in July 1976. She was born in 1957/58 and grew up in Boston. She went to stay with her Aunt before giving birth. She and her mother told her father she was going to help care for her Aunt’s children in Winchester‚ Ma. She gave birth at Winchester Hospital told 01/16/1977‚ but question that now. Her parents had 6 children‚ her mother was a nurse and possibly father worked or owned some sort of trucking/construction company.
She was a waitress and hair-dressing school. Birth Father does not know of the birth‚ apparently broke up before and he was in college. He was Italian and no other info. I was cared for by a foster family‚ told she visited me in June 1977 and finally decided to give me up for adoption but was not adopted until 11+months.

150. Barbara52 : Pittsfield‚ Massachusetts at Berkshire Medical Center approximately 9:00am.
on the 16th May. A baby girl was born to a young couple still in high school. Their names are Mike Warrington and Cindy Carlisle. Mike’s mom(me/Barbara) was there and held her with much love. She was adopted by a nice couple from Connecticut named Chris and Sue. Sue was a pastry chef and I believe they lived in Torrington. Mike and Cindy named this baby girl‚ Victoria Leigh. Chris and Sue named her Alexandra. Although the adoption was semi-open through an agency in Pittsfield‚ MA‚ Cindy gradually lost touch with her. I believe the family may have relocated to Arizona.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
