601. Vab235 : Hi,
I am trying to locate my adopted twin sisters that were born on March 18th 1982 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. I believe they were given up for adoption either through Catholic Charities or Caritas.
Thanks!
602. Sunsetsabound : My son David Alexander Langdon was born in Richmond, VA, in the VCU hospital on December 8, 2010. At the time, his father and I were in a relationship. To protect my son from his angry father, I had Children and Youth Services (CYS) pick him up. After over a year of fighting to regain custody of my son, I gave him up for adoption, as I could no longer handle the emotional struggles that went along with attempting to get him back.
My son was with a potential adoptive family, but something went wrong (I don’t know precisely what happened), and so he was removed from the home, and sent back to foster care. And that is when I lost contact with him.
My hope is to reconnect with my little boy. I’m taking a huge risk to my mental health in an effort to find him. Please assist me if you know anything that can help.
I’m 28 now, and I live in Pennsylvania. I am no longer involved with his father.
603. Denise3065 : I am searching for my sister, who would turn 50 on 8/2/2018. I do not even know if she knows she was adopted. Her mother was 16 at the time of her birth and she was forced to give the baby up by her parents and the local church. Her name was Kimberly Ann at birth, but we are not sure if her name was changed post-adoption. It was a closed adoption through Catholic Charities in Massachusetts.
604. Bevmate : My birth mother was Elizabeth Sherman. She said her mother was a Madeline Sherman. I met Elizabeth but she has since died. She mentioned that she was a foster child. I’m trying to find her birth parents.
606. Jmlewis17 : I am looking for my birth mother. I was born on 12/17/1977 in Worcester, MA I believe at St Vincent’s Hospital. I was given up for adoption through Catholic Charities. My original name given by birth mother was Elizabeth. My birth mother was around 16 years old when I was born.
607. CherylMitchell : adopted through Catholic Charities in Brockton, MA. It was a closed case, but I did find out from a clerk at the Dedham Court House the last name of my mother was Spencer. my mother was born in 1950 and was 22 when I was born and my father was 26 years old. Court docs showed my mother worked for my father and my father owned a construction company, possibly in Brockton, MA
608. Lisa1jj123 : I just want to know about my half brother josh he’s a year younger than me he was born in 2001. His biological mom was named Tracy Kubas which is my birth mom.
609. MommaBecky : Our adoptive daughter’s last name at time of adoption was Fernandez. City was Brockton Mass. She was in foster care right from the hospital after birth. We were told that she has 2 sisters wh ere being raised by an aunt but she could not take another child.
613. Cheric2124 : I was born Norma Jean on 2/12/1974. I was put in foster care when I was 4 and adopted when I was 6. I have two brothers that were adopted with me they birthdates are 4/6/1975 and 8/7/1976. Frances and Travis were their names. I’m searching for my birth mother/family. I was born in Worcester and adopted in either Webster or Southbridge. Please help me find her/them.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
