If you’re searching, please take into consideration that in many places new birth certificates are issued and may have different birth dates or locations listed. Massachusetts has recently changed their policies and now allows adoptees to obtain copies/records of their original birth certificates. If you know the agency involved in your adoption they may be able to help, as well as your local Genealogical Society (they’ll have a lot of resources and ideas). My son’s father is from the Philipines and my background is Scotts/Irish,German... My son was adopted into a bi-racial family. He’s has light skin and brown eyes.
