A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Greater London Who Chose To Be Featured

136. Ambxrrrr : I was born in St Mary’s Hospital, City of Westminster. Myself and my twin sister were placed into foster care at the age of 5 months and then were adopted into a family aged 22 months. My biological parent’s names are Stephanie and Tyson however I am unaware of what their surnames are. Stephanie is of Ghanaian heritage and Tyson is an immigrant from Barbados. They were in their early 20s when they had my sisters and from what I am aware of, Tyson had come to the country to study. I know that Stephanie is originally from South London, however am also under the impression that our biological names were changed because they now reside in an area close to where we live - I believe this is either Kilburn or Willesden.

137. RichardTodd855 : My Daughter was borne in London in July 1981 in a hospital on Samuel Street, Woolwich. I was advised to use the AfterAdoption Agency who found her from her adoption records held by the Catholic Church Adoption Agency who attempted to make contact but had no response which for me was a huge disappointment. I would dearly love to find my daughter if only to know that she has had a good life and to let her know she has been in my thoughts constantly and to let her know she has a half Brother who would like to meet her

138. Selldit : I think that my mother came from Essex and my father was from Canada and was a dentist and killed in the Second World War.

140. Julieheron : My brother is called Andrew‚ he was adopted by Fred and Betty (Brown) I think. Our mum Brenda‚ had to give you up because of financial reasons‚ no benefits in those days. I’d love to know Andrew is ok and happy. It was a private adoption. Andrew was taken‚ straight after his birth by his adopted parents. Our Mum didn’t want us to look for you because she thought she had given up any rights. Sadly‚ she died in September 2022‚ so I can look for you without upsetting her.

141. Daniellealiyah : Hello aliyah it’s your mummy here. My name is Danielle Patricia Greatorex 27/07/84. I love you with all my heart. I never gave you up. Social services took you from me at the hospital and I’ve never got over it. I was only 17 when I had you and had been in care all my life til 21. I would love to see you my sweetheart and fully understand you have a mum and that is all you’ve known but if ever you felt up to it I would love to see you. You have a 17-year-old brother and a five-year-old brother who knows about you and would be so happy to meet you. My eldest son has you in his heart constantly and you are spoken of frequently. I know that may be a lot to take‚ but I’m here when you’re ready xx I loveee you with all my heart x

142. JohnCorkery : Searching for children of William Arthur King and Mary Kirton nee Woodham or half-siblings put into care in Essex in 1947. It is thought there are both older and younger siblings born as late as 1958. My wife was adopted with her twin and is still on touch with her. Parents were married but not to each other, lived in Leytonstone but thought to have died on early 1980s in same area. My wife was adopted in Croydon in 1956, being born on 14 June 1955. Not sure which adoption agency was involved but likely to be Church of England’s Children’s Society. Where would their records be found?

143. BillyGray : Looking for relatives of my father. 146. EleanorWalkerJung : Hello, I am in a legal procedure to meet my birth parents Jason and Louise Jung. They are French and live in Paris usually. I live in London and visit Paris often. I been searching and am supported by the adoption centre whom intend to contact me as soon as they can. My name is Eleanor Walker- Jung (Marcher Jung). I hope to see them face to face when my file details has been processed. This might take months more, I began this process years ago, but I hope it won’t be very much longer before I first see them again. I intend to visit them frequently and eventually when I know them well I believe I will be able to go to live with them again. These days I know that there is an organisation that has family Contact officers whom will invite me to a meeting with my parents by sending me a text/e-mail. ADMR.fr have sent me a message confirming this. I also hope to see my parents out and about town maybe in Paris and London and talk to them. I might of seen each of them last year but am hoping for a second chance to prove that as they look a bit different after all these years. Then perhaps while we are waiting for the big official court order to be provided at a family Contact office in France, l will be able to see them from time to time including in other parts of France
