1126. JanMcGee : I am looking for Rosemary Hovells (birth name). She was the daughter of Jean Gladys Hovells, a single lady from Corton, Nr Lowestoft. I believe that Rosemary’s Father was called Eric and lived/passed away in or near Norwich.
Jean passed away a couple of years ago but was forbidden to talk about Rosemary, or tell anyone anything about her relationship with Eric.

1135. 38kinderton : My Brother Joseph born on 22nd Feb 1962 to Bertha Lillian Collins (formerly Bedford) Name changed to Kevin John by baptism on 27th May 1962 and adopted.
1136. Emma-J : My nan Dorothy V Stephens was told she was adopted not long after her birth on June 7th 1932 in Paddington, London. We have recently found her original Birth record of Dorothy V Postigo her biological mothers name was Dorothy M Krakowski and her biological father Albert S Postigo. This is all the information my nan had. She was told she was adopted due to her mother being seriously Ill and due to die. We have since learnt this wasnt the truth as her mother and father didnt pass until the early 1970s in Kent. She has been unable to ask her adoptive parents any information about her biological family as she when she was 7 she was in the mass evacuations and ended up in a childrens home and eventually being brought up by another family.
1139. Pinkvboots : Hi‚ my father was adopted at the age of around 8 in Tottenham‚ London. He was apparently born in Newcastle upon Tyne or somewhere in that region. His name was Arnold Raymond although this might have been changed. I would love to find someone who has any information about where he came from and to connect with any family. I am on heritage.com and have had several DNA hits which can only be from my father’s side but nobody knows anything from that. I did find a first cousin of my father but she doesn’t know anything.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
