665. Harveysmiles : I gave my girl up for adoption after realizing the man I relied on was a danger to us both and knowing that alone I was not emotionally strong enough to meet all her needs.
I only want to know she is ok and for her to know I made the decision after a mental health assessment stated I would meet her physical needs but was so badly damaged myself that there could never be enough support available to ensure that she grew up with no emotional scars.
I love her, always have and always will. Never will I regret the short time I had with her.

670. Sareast17 : My nan has recently passed and she told us that she had a half brother that her mother had given up for adoption.
During the war my great grandfather was away fighting. My great grand mother met a man and fell pregnant with his baby. When the baby boy was a couple of months old, my grandmother gave him up for adoption. All my nan remembers is that she was around 15 holding her baby half brother on a bus to the old kent road. They dropped him off at an adoption place somewhere in that area.
She believed that his name was either derek or david williams before adoption.
My great grandmothers name was amy cecillia williams married to albert williams.
672. SteveRose : I am searching for my adopted brother‚ his name was Brian David Hull‚ my mothers name is Jacqueline Hull (now Waller). He was born in Bromley 1969.
673. Hornblower : I was born in Lambeth Hospital, and I believe I may have been given up for adoption immediately after birth. I was eventually adopted 7th January 1952.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
