546. ElaineSmith : I am searching for my Birth Mother and Brother. I was born at home in Manor Park, East London. My mother’s name was Marjorie Smith - who came from the Watford area At the time of my birth, Marjorie was working in a rubber factory in Whipps Cross. My brother who was around seven years older was Paul Smith. I believe that Paul was in care at the time of my birth on 20 September 1961, but that my mother was eventually able to get him back. I was cared for by Marjorie until I was four months old - when I was placed with my adoptive parents in January 1962. I understand that by now you will probably have families of your own ect and the last thing I want is to disrupt your lives - But I would really like to find the missing piece of my life and understand where I come from ect.

547. Vixsheseeks : Seeking Birth name Darren John Elgood. Born 21/11/1967 at Lambeth Hospital. Mother Ann Elgood from Hove. She stayed at The Limes Mother and Baby Home. The Church Army believed to have orchestrated the adoption. Her social worker was a Sister Bradley. Last notes on her index card were just before Christmas stating she leaves the Limes and baby for adoption. No actual idea where the adoption took place or which county.

548. Sjsteers : I am searching to see if I have another adopted sibling. I found out a few years ago I have a brother which I never knew about and my mother lied about our status eg. That we are full siblings so we have had a dna test which proves we are full siblings. I want to know if we have a further sibling as our mother is not forthcoming and does not tell the truth. I just want to know the truth about my family as I have no connection with either my mother or father and I feel like I have an empty space which could be another sibling.
