My mother (now 52) was adopted through an agency in London (which has now closed down) by a lady named Pricilla Jackson - who passed away some years ago. 18 months after adopting my mother Pricilla was offered the adoption of my mother’s newborn sister - but she was unable to. My mother’s birth name was Gloria Simpson and I’m aware my mother’s sister’s birth

201. Yekviv : I am looking for information about my birth father, John Joseph Cassellze aka Cassells born in 1920, Limerick, Ireland.
My parent went their separate ways when I was very young, my mother never allowed my father contact with me.
I was adopted by my birth mother and step-father in 1952. I did question as to why my birth mother was included and was told that was the way it was done back then.
I never met my father or anybody who Knew him but, found some interesting information on various websites.
The last information I found was, he was living in Madrid Spain, working converting computer code to music with an organization called MicroHobby during the 1980s
I feel I will never find more information about him now, but one never knows.
I haven’t found any more children he fathered.
My birth is registered, Vivien Helen Cassellze, the name my father used a lot while living in London also Spain.

Birthmother King , was Widow , already having children 3 Girls with her I think and 2 boys went to ’ Barnado’s Childrens Home I think !

She was educated at Notre Dame convent Northampton. My adopted surname is Fennelly and my adopted parents were Winifred and John Fennelly. My birth father’s name was Alistair Armstrong and he was an engineering officer in the Navy. The adoption was finalised in Uxbridge Court and I know that Hammersmith social services were involved in the adoption process at some point.
